Here is one. They cover the full length of doors, but do not extend to the box. They are very good, better than what I had on previous truck.

Mine wasn't very well made at all... short in some areas, long in others.,

Seemed to fit fine, the sides were high enough to go under the bed rails, and up under the lip fold over on the shell in the front. So no white bed paint showing at all after the install.

^^ I would say you are probably correct. Just can't say I have ever seen such a solution before, and wondered what the heck one would use those for? Seatbelts indicate them being used while the vehicle is in motion. Who is the lucky friend or family member who gets stuck in the bed? LOL

those were a hoot. scary as hell if you had a crazy driver especially in the winter time doing cookies in parking lots after a couple six packs.
up in here we would say those would be ideal for shooting jack rabbits lol. of course you better pull the topper first....

Just saw one of these go for cheap on Ebay. What a funny car to bomb around town in. It was actually made by Subaru. I have yet to actually see one on the road.

Back in the 80s when the Subaru Brat was more popular, you used to see them occasionally. Sometimes I think the ONLY reason people bought them was for the bed seat option. I don't recall ever seeing one without them.
