Curious if anyone can provide the build options for a 2021 2500? I am ordering one Monday but I plan to build a fully loaded laramie but I know my sales person said they can have an optional safety package with a digital rear view? Does anyone know if anything else has changed?

Lastly, I like the 12 inch screen but I do like simple buttons for like the seats etc. are you guys springing for the 12” or considering the 8.4 inch? If the backup cameras filled the whole 12” I’d be more inclined but from what I saw today it just cuts the screen in half.

I sprung for the 12" screen after watching a few YouTube videos on it. You can see the options I went with in my Sig

somewhere on this thread is the RAM pub that has all the options and configs. I think it is pulled from the RAM fleet/commercial website section.

Here are the build options that my dealer sent me when I ordered my 2021 2500 Limited 6.4 last month

Ordered my tradesman 2500, 6.4 on 9-11-2020. It is loaded with options. Got a build date yesterday for Nov 23, so they must be about to start releasing them. I had a specific reason for getting this truck and my dealer which is great gave me a estimated 6 weeks at the most for this truck to be here. Now he and I thought we were ordering a 2020 which he had been getting in less than that time. Unfortunate I have to have a truck and found a good deal on a new 2020 cummings for not much more than I would be paying for the 2021 hemi (with similar options). I'm headed to look at it today. I may loose the $500 deposit, since the truck I'm looking to buy is at another dealer.

If you have a good relationship with the first dealer, why not ask if he will get the truck that you found on a dealer trade.
 
Just checked Ram Chat on my 2021 3500 build placed 9/8. Was told all parts assembled but no build date yet. I think that would be D status.

I ordered a truck last Monday and have no clue on how to track it. My dealer said I'd get emails. Emails from Who? Is there a website?

Dealer will most likely send you email updates.

We've got a D1 ship date of 11/25, placed order 9/15. 2500 SO Laramie.
 
I just got build date of 11/14 and ship date of 11/28 from dealer. When should I expect build sheet to be available online?
 
I went into the dealer on 8/22 and built and put a deposit on a 2500 cummins limited mega cab. Found out that the order wasn't placed until 9/9. I'm still in D status with no indication as to when it will come out of that right now. I was a little pissed at the dealer for waiting over 2 weeks to put the order in, but they stated the factory wouldn't accept any orders until then? Because of this it will also be a 2021 now, so not mad about that. The only crappy part is I sold my '13 in the meantime and have been driving a work flatbed... couldn't take it anymore and started looking for alternatives. Rentals, turo, whatever... ended up buying a one owner '93 D150 today that the dealer took in on trade for 1K.. hahaha.. it just has to survive long enough for mine to come in.

Hi Chris,

The dealer probably should have told you on 8/22, the last date to order a 2020 was 8/6. I believe the first date that FCA accepted orders for 2021 was 9/4. Did the dealer give you a copy of the Priced Order Confirmation (POC) form? The build priority section at the bottom should say "01". It's my understanding that orders that have a Scheduling Priority: "1-Sold Order" get built before orders for dealer stock. My order is for a Limited Crew Cab Hemi, ordered on 9/14, and is in D1 status with a build date of 11/26. If your order is marked "1-Sold Order" I'm wondering if its the Mega Cab that is causing the delay. When this is all over, the D150 might make a cool resto-mod..:-)

I'm not sure where you got those dates, but the order for my 2020 was placed on 8/28. My build sheet was then populated on 9/28 and window sticker populated on 10/1. Mine is built and supposed to be arriving at the dealer between 10/12 and 10/26.
