Theirs a place in settings to have them either way.

You can do it either by Alfaobd or via the instrument cluster, the menu is "commercial settings" (if you don't have this you can also turn it on via Alfaobd). The generic pin code is 0000. Then you can choose how you want each switch to operate (available with ignition on or always avaliable)

Thanks! I was looking for the menu in the settings menu on the radio.

What is the part number of the switch panel for the PW? Thinking about doing it to mine. You have the upfitter (VSIM) ?

I don’t have the upfitter package, so I’m building a generic relay box I bought off Amazon.

Has anyone played with AlfaOBD on their 2019 HD's yet? I'm curious if anything is accessible to "change" and if it just works. There is lots of different info out there on other forums, but i haven't found anything in regards to the 2019's. EDIT: AlfaOBD does work, here is the what is needed...

Thanks. I found your post after I posted. I'm trying to figure out with the VSIM what I need to do with the aux switches. I too have a granite power wagon.

reach out to paulvi in this thread. He made me a harness that will interface with the aux switch panel and the relay box I bought. He has other options too. I hope to get mine completed in the next week or so. I’ll take pics and post here.

I’m seriously excited to get going on mine. Took your advice and reached out for the wiring ! Thank you for that :) now just waiting for the switches and everything to show up :) my wife let me go Christmas shopping for myself lol

let me know if you run into any hiccups or things to watch out for

I have my relay box and the mounting panel fabricated and fitted. Just need some paint (to hide my lack of abilities to cut a razor straight line) and time to run the wires.

That looks amazing !

was the relay box sent as per the recommendation or did you have to fab that up yourself ?
The mounting plate looks great also, I hope you colour match that to your truck

I got the relay box and wired it up myself. I hope to make all the connections to the truck this week. It’s been pouring in south Florida from the storm, so I’ve been limited to how much I can get done. Hopefully it’s out of the way sometime this week.
The mounting plate will be a textured black color.
I’ll detail everything I used once I wrap things up.
