Did that appear at some point or was it always like that?

Hi @2019joram - If at any point you work with your dealer, our team is always a private message away and more than willing to provide support.

2020 with 200 miles and the right front wheel shows it's flat? The sensor is out or something. I bought the truck 5 hours away and local dealers are not to willing to work on it. Told me it would be weeks and no loaner? I work at freakin FCA, we have to do better at the dealer level. I don't care how good we design and build the trucks, if we continue to have a crap dealer network and no backing from FCA, things won't change.

Sound like a bad round of sensors have went out lately

Not sure why a dealer cares where you bought, they are getting reimbursed for a warranty repair either way.

They don't get the full dollar amount that you would be charged for it, if not under warranty. It doesn't excuse the fact they passed the buck, but if there is a waiting period then warranty should be on a different wait list, and it should be shorter.

Anyone having issues with the rain sensing wiper system? I find my wipers activating pretty frequently when there is no rain.

Yep...dealer was 'unable to replicate' (of course)... I just leave it off.

I have never had a problem getting warranty work done by my local dealer even though I bought out of state.

Lucky you. My local dealer acts like I’m asking for their firstborn when getting warranty work done.

I guess maybe I am lucky, but I am dealing with a dealer in a town of 15000 that has ford, Chevy, CDRJ, so maybe that’s it? After every service there is a customer satisfaction survey as well. If there are dealers out there that treat customers the way you experienced, all the more reason to sell direct to public and just make dealers service centers only. We all know that that ain’t gonna happen. It has been my practice to remind dealers that their service may make me decide to buy there in the future.

Yeah the difference in the local CDJR dealership here and the Ford is night and day. My wife’s
Ecoboost Expedition has had several problems, though she loves it, and they’ve always been quick to get it in, cover it under warranty, and provide her a free loaner for however long it takes (several weeks each time).

That has made her and I loyal to them, because they go above and beyond to make it right, and they’ve never tried to pull the wool over our eyes.

My CDJR dealership tries everything they can to get you to pay out of pocket. They don’t want to help at all, don’t want to file any claims, and then they tried to sell me a 4 wheel alignment for 160 bucks instead of their advertised 89.99 because “the front steering is welded”.

I know what they’re talking about, but unfortunately for them my truck isn’t one of those that had that recall done. They just tried to lump me in with all 2500s that did have the weld done and make me pay more for no reason. Ridiculous and forever cements that if I can help it, all my car repairs and maintenance will happen in my driveway or at my favorite auto repair shop.

It’s a brand new to me truck, you’d think they’d see that and think “oh here is my chance to win a customer, to get his oil changes and tire rotations and etc done here” but it’s honestly like they don’t want us to come back.

Bought mine out of state also...Took it in for the 6.4L chirp at start-up, not so cool A//C, hesitation when it is cold started and had them do an oil change and rotation. They say it didn't chirp or hesitate and the A/C was within the specs...Charged $130.00 for the oil change and rotation. I will be changing my own oil from now on.

I have always done my own service unless there were some free oil changes, etc., from the deal. For what they charge, I can change twice as often if I choose. Lots of “techs” are just parts changers anyways.

I do my oil and fuel also. I realize they are mostly parts swappers but it's under warranty and brand new. The Chrysler dealership experience for the most part has never been a good one. It definitely seems like the smaller dealers give a crap a lot more than the mega dealers. I am 57 and have 40+ years in the car industry including almost 28 building them. Make the customer #1 and don't make it just talk. It has to start at the top though and FCA and the others only care about selling it to you and not to much about keeping you happy. I was told by my dealer in Ohio who is 5 hours away that a truck he sold to a guy in PA now has a bad fuel pump, the cn4 i think. The PA dealer told him maybe by December 17th they will have one. No excuse! BUy and 80 thousand dollar truck and have it broke with 1000 miles on it and the factory not really worried about it? I know i probably don't have all the details but stories like this are all over this forum, it's not an isolated incident.
