Here in Central NY we have Delta Sonic gas station/car wash. They have an unlimited car wash package and if you have that and also link their fuel card to your bank account you get a fuel discount of $.020-.030 per gallon. The car wash is $30 a month and with it being unlimited there are days ill go though twice a day......on my way to work and on my way home LOL. I bet I go though the wash 10-15 times a month. My old 2020 was the same and granted it was also Billet silver but it was not all hazy scratched up, or you couldn't easily see them haha

nope...you are NOT dumb...just practical. I have the same 'coating' here in Bay St. Louis. When it is about to rain, I move my truck from under my place, hose it down and then have the rainwater remove the municipal water hardness.No sense in washing it during pollen season
