I paid $700 over invoice. Which wound up being about 10 grand lower than MSRP when I ordered my truck. When I went to pick it up and pay for it, I also got any discounts that were available at the time along with my military discount.

Invoice is what they pay for the truck. Minus any factory incentives they may get. You'll never pay less than invoice. They are not going to loose money.

Sure you can and yes they will to sell a truck and meet their quota for a huge monthly bonus check from the manufacturer. Done this WAY too many times my friend and I have saved $2000+ BELOW invoice on many vehicles I have purchased.

So your telling me you screwed the dealer out of money on a bunch of your purchases?
Yep! Every one of them :p Just look at Mark Dodge and Ourisman CDJR selling vehicles at 13% off MSRP. They are looking for the VOLUME to get the massive manufacturer rebates and not the money on that actual sale of the truck. You have to know how the game is played and how dealerships make their money. It's a shame that all of these years you've been over paying for all of your vehicles :oops: What you "should" also know, but maybe don't, is that on every invoice are marketing funds and hold-back dollars that can amount to 3-4% of the invoice. Therefore, even if you did buy "at invoice", the dealership is still making several thousand dollars off that truck in addition to the dealer fees that most all of them charge that can range from a few hundred to over a thousand dollars. Maybe this will help you negotiate better on your next purchase ;)

That's not how that works man. You can look at any of the deals from Mark, Koons, etc and see invoice pricing, holdback etc and see how you're under holdback with them.
 
This was my deal on my '25. No secrets. You can see all the numbers broken down. This is not including any rebates.
