2026 RAM HD Builds and Orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here!

Just spoke to my dealer. He still doesn't expect it for another 2 months even though it’s sitting in a port in Mexico waiting for transport. So - adjusting my expectation (and when to sell my current truck).
Hopefully it will get there sooner rather than later. Keeping my fingers crossed for you and the transport.

Ordered with Mark Dodge Jan 31st. 2500 Laramie Mega Cab, 4x4, 6.7l, Level 2+, Night Edition.

I noticed during my 2025 build, that on Tuesdays or Wednesdays often have the most frequent updates.

Well, got lucky, my man searched other dealers and found my truck in GA. I won’t have to wait more than 2 days for it.

Well, not so lucky after all. The dealer that my dealer was buying the truck from decided they were keeping it.
Back-up plan, Mark Dodge has one just like it, connect, bargain, send pics of trade-in Defender. Boom done, and after a fee of $1,000 to have a guy drive it to my house and drive their Defender back to Louisiana, I’m done, even saved another $4,000!

I uploaded a picture of my ram tracker and what the dealer sent me to ChatGPT for fun. Apparently it’s going by train not boat and should be here by the end of February. Dealer says not until May. Who will be correct ? Place your bets. Lol

Did your ram tracker have an estimated delivery date? I’m thinking it’s going to be sometime in March. But I guess it depends on when it’s loaded on that initial train.

It said may 2nd after built and then changed to TBD after it shipped. I think dealer is saying may also since it once said may 2 but march seems more realistic. Anything is possible I guess.

Gotcha. Yeah mine had originally said April 9th after being built but had TBD for shipping through out. Then it went to TBD, then Feb 20th for a couple of weeks. Then it changed to March 2nd. The next day after changing to March 2nd, dealer called and said it arrived. lol. It actually arrived on Feb 17th. I picked it up from Mark Dodge yesterday.

After mourning my 2009 ram 1500 with 296k miles breaking bad enough that it wasn’t smart to repair the first week of Feb, Ordered through mark ram on Feb 10.

Amazing to see how different orders are processed and ultimately delivered between dealers. On extreme cases you can have a truck delivered little over 1 1/2 months and others 5 or 6 months all placed around same time. To say there isn’t a benefit to use a dealer who has a fast track record is sticking head in sand. It’s hard to watch people who ordered well after you receive their truck before you while your truck is still sitting in some lot somewhere. Sometimes it’s not always about the discount. Ah well.

Mark Dodge has not only the best discounts but it's also geographically in a very good location. It's not that far from Saltillo all things considered, compared to up North, the extreme Southeast, or out West.

Seem to get the best of both worlds there. I compared with Koons and a local NE OH dealer and they are being beat in that respect as well.

Agree 100%. Total cost would have been more for me to use Mark Dodge because of my location. I just need to wait.

My post was to make people aware it’s more than just hard dollars. Do what’s right for you in your specific scenario.

Mark Dodge may have good deals and faster delivery, but they are about 1600 miles from me. Macdonald Motors in Bridgton, Maine is 16 miles from me. It took about 90 days to get my truck, which seems about average, and I got 10.2% off MSRP. Dorian Lucca was great to work with. Something to consider for people in the extreme northeast.

The main benefit with going local for me is for warranty work. Especially if you have aftermarket stuff installed and the dealer is a good one. I’d like to go local so the dealer can install the lift, wheels, and tires so they will honor the warranty.

Other than that, I’d go with Mark Dodge and enjoy the 8 hour drive home.

Any dealer will support your warranty. You can always buy the truck elsewhere and have your local dealer do your work for you if that makes you more comfortable. Anyone should be able to get 10-13% off MSRP without trying that hard.

I work for the airlines so traveling to any location isn't a problem for me, and in regards to after, driving back on a roadtrip for me is fun. I can always make the time. Just makes the additional thousands of dollars saved even more worth it.

Plus you can always ship it, just have to factor that cost in and see if it's worth it vs any other dealer. I'm too particular though and would rather drive it back.

Everyone is different and yes warranty work can be done anywhere, just have to find a good dealer to do it; and pretty much any dealer will offer at least 10% off a '26MY HD nowadays, that's like bare minimum imo.

I've had a dealer turn me away because i did not buy my truck from them, asked how could I buy from you when I just move here from another state
It happens and a dealer can turn you away for warrant work by saying the lift and tires caused the damage.

Risk Mitigation: Buy from reputable local dealer and have them install lift and tires.

If the deal isn’t there, I’ll just go to Mark Dodge.
