Just got off my PPE extra large oil filters in definitely a lot bigger than Amsoil or Fleetguard filters. Totally 5 µg and 15 µm at 98%. I believe gonna try them out on both of my trucks.

Man there is a solution to every problem that does not exist :p Let us know if you notice any difference :D
30 more HP and 50 more TQ...amazing what a bigger oil filter will do! Change your oil every 5K and you'll never have to worry about it. OEM filters are just fine.

Then there is this guy...

Can't bear to watch. Is this the one where he says he can tell if oil has sheared by rubbing it between his fingers? ROFL.

Oh GAWD. My curiosity got the better of me. He doesn't even know which way oil flows through the filters!

And doesn't the Cummins have the bypass and ADBV built into the filter housing? Those springs are just to hold the filter media in the can.

Isn't every filter sold on Amazon pretty much counterfeit?
The link he used shows the order is fulfilled by Cross FIlters not Amazon ( I dont trust any order if its fulfilled by Amazon when it comes to filters) I have purchased many oil filters from Cross FIlters since 2014 never have I had problems from any filter I have purchased from them

Admittedly I did not look at the listing.

Cross is on my list of legit vendors.

The guys channel is a joke for the most part, but I believe he at least did mention the bypass in that video.

Not sure it’s got anything tangibly better than the Donaldson DBL7349 already does. There might be a little more media, might, but most of that added height is likely taken up by the completely unnecessary bypass valve that isn’t even spec’d to be in the filter. In addition to the bypass being unnecessary PPE’s bypass opens much sooner (31 psid vs 50 psid) than the OEM bypass meaning you’ll get oil bypassing the filter at a psid that Cummins considers to be normal.

Stick to the DBL7349, it’s still the best filters for the application.
