What did you do TO your RAM today?

I have to do the same or plastic dip those pieces. Did you leave them in place or remove them, thanks

I have plastidipped both jeeps, my ford and my old ram 1500. With good prep and a heavy hand on the dip it turns out great, lasts and comes off pretty easy in most cases if and only if you want it off. Highly recomend for deleting chrome.

I am in the process of color matching my grill and bumpers. I have already painted the chrome parts on the front end. I'm now considering painting the bumpers black to match my Fender Flares. I have attached an actual picture of my grill and front end and two chat GPT pictures with the bumper blue or black what's your opinion? I kind of think if I color match the bumpers it's too much blue.

Maybe black with a few pieces blue (tow hook covers or plastic around fog lights?)

I'm on the fence right now about painting mine body color or wrapping them.
Yeah i really love the paint matched ones but this green is rare and apparently not the easiest color to match which I why I was going with the night edition grill and bumpers. Also they didn't offer a night edition in the olive pearl green so I thoughtb it would be cool to have a 1 of 1 I guess lol.

Had 2 speed sensors replaced as part of a recall

I really like that olive color too, I just couldn't find one local.

I finished the weight loss program. The EGR was electronically removed in September when the DPF and SCR were removed. Physically removed the EGR today. The shop wanted an extra $1K to do this so I decided to tackle it myself. Probably close to 50lbs of parts in the pile.

Took the truck to a local tire shop to have the new wheels and tires balanced. Discount Tire is incapable of balancing wheels and tires. I was about a half hour from the Discount Tire and on a good road when I finally realized that they weren't balanced.

I took the truck to a local shop and they charged me $80 to balance them. If I had returned to Discount Tire, it would have been $40 in gas and 5 hours of my day wasted, so just went local. I picked it up and he said two of the tires balanced out fine with less than 2 oz of weight. But, he said the other two were bad. Real bad. One took 15oz of weight and the other 11oz. He said the Milestar Tires are like that; you'll get some that are fine, and then a couple that are horribly out of balance. He said if they get a tire that takes more than 5oz to balance, they send it back to the manufacturer and recommended that I follow up with Discount Tire and get two new tires. He said I'll never get those two tires to ride perfectly and I will likely feel a slight shimmy.

I drove it home and it rode fine, but I could just barely feel the shimmy.

Love the tires! They are quiet and my gas mileage hasn't been affected. They did just fine today heading out to my shooting spot.
