I don't get it. I went to like every single website that sells mopar parts and when I entered the vin or by model and year they never showed up. I have been looking for two days. What am I doing wrong?2019-2020 HD damper strut- 68362518AA

About the FOB. Right now I have two original ones with close . open and panic button. Since I want to add remote starter and tailgate assistance I purchased one with corresponding buttons. My question is...can I go to the dealer and asked them to activate it right now before I install remote start? And once I install it activated it with AlfOBD? Everything should work?
In my truck I need to install a hood latch with sensor. Other member said you can go around that if you install a resistor somewhere to make the computer think hood is always closedIt is my understanding, that the facilities for the remote start are already present. But without a fob button to activate it, and the feature codes active, it doesn't work. The dealer supposedly has the ability to turn on the codes when they activate the new fob.
What do you think needs to be installed?
Ive ordered the MXODBII module, and the bypass cable. When those arrive, I'll purchase the AlphaODB.

Then all you need is the FOB and tell the dealer to enable remote startShhhh...I already have a sensor there that is wired in. If I am looking at the correct object, it is attached to my hood latch.
I might have to go that way cause I can't find a way to get thru the engine wall. Have no idea how to run the wires. To add to my reply above: another option if you don’t have the hood latch and wiring- the hood ajar sensor wire is most likely present at the BCM connector C1 pin 11. You can just ground that wire with a 1k ohm resistor, and the BCM will see the hood as always being closed. Just throwing that out there if one weren’t concerned about installing the correct latch and wiring.
You just go through the plastic round clutch delete plate.I might have to go that way cause I can't find a way to get thru the engine wall. Have no idea how to run the wires.

There is no way I can get to the back. Can't fit my hand anywhereYou just go through the plastic round clutch delete plate.
I tried to pull it out and it slides out maybe 1/16 and that is. I don't want to damage the clips. Unless I'm doing something wrongThe Aux PDC pulls out some.

I was able to just slide both plugs out. They have separate attachments on them. But now I'm stuck on the pin 11. I have to get all the way back to BCM to connect the wire there. REALLY tight space.I think you have to loose the two bolts visible there between the Aux PDC and the battery tray?
You may need to loose the AUX plugs from the PDC as well.
I pulled mine out once, but I've slept since then.
If you have the amplifier or active noise canceling module mounted next to the parking brake, remove it. The full wire bundle for the BCM connectors is attached to the center of the BCM with a zip tie push pin. Pry that out so you have more slack to work the connector. It’s the top left connector (black) you are inserting the wire into, but just unplug all of the connectors from the BCM for more slack. To release the ones with the lever locks, put your index finger above the lever to push in the release tab while prying up with your thumb on the bottom of the lever. Slide the black curved wire hood off of the connector. If there is a wire in pin 11 already, just remove it and install the new wire.I was able to just slide both plugs out.
