I mounted it on the driver's side frame rail, where it stays tucked up and out of the way.
Understand-Im satisfied with the factory rear air on my dually, but I'd be lying if I said that level of adjustability wouldn't be VERY nice.
...And a thirdI am surprised that it didn't work on your 24. Did you try it a second time?
Fired it up this morning and sure enough, I still have the ABS light blinking...Off to the stealership.
On another note, since my caster adjustment is at the limit, I think I'm going to pick up new control arms before the upcoming alignment.
Anyone know anything or have any experience with these BDS arms?
And the excellent news is, first, the dealership was able to fix all those pesky dash lights and CEL quickly.
Next, with the speedometer calibrated and after some driving around town and on the highway, I saw mileage I had never seen before. 17.4. Later on, I had to drive 25 miles to/from town, and that trip netted me 17.1.
Before the Banks stuff and the 35" tires, I would routinely see 14.3 with a best in the 15's. I think I am in the sweet spot. Considering I have a 10,000 lb. truck, 6 tires, an AISIN, and 4.10 gears, I think this is pretty good. Makes me wonder what it might get for mileage with a full delete???
Yeah, me too.Holy crap thats a huge improvement in MPG. Kind of surprised, actually.
Yeah, me too.
Thinking about it, I had run the 255 (33") tire for quite a while without ever having adjusted the speedometer. So, I was actually looking at low-ball numbers. Now that everything is calibrated, I am seeing the delta from before plus the added efficiency from both Mr. Banks and the longer rollout of the 35" carcass.
Nevertheless, I am happily surprised.
