I’d say don’t do anything. This scenario is popping up on other forums too, where granger realized their mistake, and telling people that mopar is telling them to do this. When I got my Ram, I was surprised and found Granger was able to sell me the warranty (I confirmed 3 months before my truck arrived) and I bought one. This week, they sent out notices to California (and Florida?) customers that Mopar is telling them they need to refund or change the home address to one outside the state.
I bought a 2023 ram Cummins last week. It has 3700 miles on it. Contacted flex care about extended warranty. They put in the vin and said sure. Purchased warranty and they emailed the contract to me. According to the contract the coverage date is march of 2025-march of 2033. The inservice date was march of 2023. Looks like a mistake to me. Not sure what I should do?
I always go for Maxi you never know what can happen with all the new computer controlled gadgets, I bought mine from Granger for $25.00 over cost some $360 lower then ZiggyPurchased an 8 year 75k extended care plus. Didn’t think I would need the full bumper to bumper.
What are people’s thoughts on plus vs max?
Will have to take your word they sell for less being Ziggy will not let you see prices upfront like Granger Mooters, thus you are required to contact them to get a warranty priceI thought this as well but the plus seems to have quite a few electronics included. Total wire harness as well.
I priced Granger and Ziegler was cheaper.
Here is the link to Granger Motors web page for extended Mopar warranties, on its shows lower page it shows the Extended Care Premium 5,000+ Components:I must be looking at something different. Granger that I see shows 1000+ components covered. Ziegler shows 5000+ for the max and 800+ for the plus.
What did you get and how much was it? I'm debating on getting an extended warranty but I also want to delete mine after the factory warranty is up. Stock tune with the delete.I bought from Ziegler
I bought it for my 1500 Limited Midnight Edition. I am seriously looking at a loaded Laramie 2500HD Midnight Edition but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I can say that Ziegler was great to deal with and has the best warranty prices available on the net. With all of the electronics in these trucks, for me, a factory extended warranty is a no brainer! What did you get and how much was it? I'm debating on getting an extended warranty but I also want to delete mine after the factory warranty is up. Stock tune with the delete.
