After the TSB for the DPF about 6 months ago, the truck was doing a regen far more often. i did have this warning once before , it went into regen and cleared. this time its on and has been about a week.
truck is a 2020 with about 69,000 on it. it is tuned, but i typically keep it in street mode and dont beat on it to hard. I do a good amount of short trip city driving, but at least good long hour drives at 2k rpm every few days.
I will absolutely not pay a dealer to swap this thing out. i have seen a bunch of videos for people pulling it and cleaning it. has anyone done it? looks like a semi simple unbolt job and possibly having to pull a cross member.
Or.... is there a way to force a regen and see if i can burn it all off?
