What did you do TO your RAM today?

That's great milage how are you getting it that high. M y best so far is 16.5 mpg maybe because im rolling on 35x12's

Stock size tires helps, but they are also a more aggressive tire.

Even with the net downhill I'm surprised for the Hemi. The uphill return trip showed 15.6 and 2:03, so similar speed. The EVIC was dead on with my last fill up, but we’ll see how accurate it is when I fill up today.

I did the same drive last week with a hellacious headwind so I drove a little slower, took 14 more minutes, and the EVIC said 17.6.

The Cummins should yield better mileage than my Hemi, at least my HO’s always did.

This week, I got new wheels and tires. Fuel Coverts 20x9 and Nitto Recon Grapplers 35x11.5

what offset are these?

Took a little run to Ct. to pickup a Shelter Logic 16x30 coverall. Not great mpg but certainly not terrible pulling a light trailer down and a light load home.

Would have all fit in the bed, but the sales rep quoted some larger figures then actual.

Nice that is a nice trailer! I'm from C.T we should have got together and had a coffee and a shot of Diesel . I have a13 x20 x12foot high Shelter Logic building this will be the second winter for mine. They are sturdy well made you will be happy with your purchase.

Thanks, she was an expensive little thing. But she works nice. An Aluminum power tilt deckover, rated for 14,000 with a 2900# trailer weight.
Came to say the same and let’s see pics of this shelter post assembly.

May be awhile getting it assembled and in service it is going to be going over a sand "bunker" for my winter sand. My "helper" has been a bit eradicate on the days he shows up for work. Need to square up and redo one more wall of the mafia/bin blocks.

My normal day to day running around is between 14 mpg to 24 mpg.
My normal run to town and back is about 20 miles with 2 hills that suck fuel.
The other day just out of curiosity I watched it closely both ways on a 25 mile highway run, one way going from a lower to slightly higher elevation I got 24 mog going, then on the return I only got 22 mpg, same roads same amount of traffic mostly the same temperature, using the cruise control both ways. I was a bit surprised at the differences. But I have noticed the similar results in other vehicles.

Changed out the headlamp bulbs today from morimoto 2stroke 3.0 to newer 4.0s.

The 3.0s were great for about 4 years but the cooling fans died in them and they’ve diminished in brightness and color temperature, with the driver side one being noticeably dimmer. They were still good, still much better than my tundra halogen bulbs. They were out of warranty, lasted about 4 years.

I am still happy with them being $200 and lasting 4 years because I have replaced the halogen bulbs in my work tundra every 8-10 months with quality sylvania bulbs for ~$45 each time. I always buy the two pack because the second bulb always fails within a few weeks of the first one going out.

Back to the morimotos, The 4.0s have a thinner chip and better fans and a lifetime warranty. Initially, I can only notice that the cooling fans are quieter at startup but they get louder as they increase speed max speed is probably the same volume from the 3.0s. the color temp seems correct. I thought the 3.0s were great so I expect the 4.0s to be great as well. The morimoto led bulbs greatly improved visibility without other drivers flashing me for glare ( in my wife’s Mazda with factory LEDs we always get flashed, they’re incredible headlights but other drivers don’t like them)

Pic testing all the forward lighting. The fogs are SAE Baja designs and the bumper mounted lights are off-road lights. All the color temperature are very close so I’m happy with that.
