I have a new 2500HD with the Hemi 6.4.
I have had 3 occasions now where the truck shut down on its own - 2 while making a right hand turn into my driveway at about 10mph and one on the road driving through town making a lane change from the left lane to the right. The display screen on the dash behind the steering wheel messages "shift to part to start". This is very disturbing since if/when it happens and I am on the road with vehicles behind me I am concerned that I just can't shift to part without stopping the vehicle and this will probably cause someone to rear end me! Going to the dealership where I bought it from, but I'm sure without the condition being present they will say it will be hard to troubleshoot. The vehicle now has just over 1000 miles.

You may have done this and or it may have no bearing on your situation but make sure all of the fuses are seated all the way, in the fuse box under the hood.

Thank you for the advise! I just checked. Hard to believe but the majority of the fuses in the fuse box under the hood were not seated all the way. I guess quality control is lacking! Now I wait and see if this solved the issue. Thanks again!

Mine did that also, I took in for service in AUG and there was a TSB out to fix the problem. They had to reprogram a module.

Same thing with mine. The service bulletin resolved the issue. The thought that I have though is why this service bulletin wasn't checked for or any recalls on the vehicle before I took delivery. Seems like an avenue for someone to take a legal action against RAM if they would have ran into me during one of these occurrences. They really need to protect their selves legally! This could have ended up with a collision, especially since I had to put the vehicle fully into part in order to start my engine back up! Wow, what ever happened to shifting into neutral, starting the vehicle while it is rolling and then putting it back in drive???

If your selling dealer did not check for TBS updates its not FCA fault they failed to do a proper predelivery service & inspection before delivery to you....
