How would you mount this compressor in the bed?

I use this for basically airing up the tires on the truck and RV.
Since my 2024 has the inverter plug in the bed, it seems that would be a great place to store it all the time.

I pull the RV anywhere from every 2-3 weeks to sitting somewhere for 2-3 months. So, I am always messing with tire pressures.

Ideally towards the tailgate, as I damn near need a step ladder to get in the bed, which I have to do every time I hook up or disconnect the RV.
Cant go on the drivers side as I installed the 7 way right beside the 120 plug.
I have a cover for when not hooked up, so weather is a bit of and issue.

I also have the 8 foot bed, so I should be able to have more options as I dont think the RV swing would come anywhere near hitting it by itself.

It is a small unit.... 12x12x 14 high if I recall. I would also like a bit or room for the 25 foot hose to stay with it.

1.2hp motor is going to draw more than 3.5 watts. More like double your 400w inverter.

Amps..... it sucks up about 350 watts

I grabbed the wrong pic.

Well, you were talking watts regarding the inverter, not amps. Regardless, that is close to the inverter capacity. I would look at a portable one to keep inside the truck behind the seat. It would be more than sufficient. Such as Viair or similar. That’s what I carry.

I second the M18 inflator or similar. I tried using the 400 watt outlet to power one of those hairdryer style water sports toy inflators and wouldn’t do it.
