Lost power steer and brake issues

Hey guys and gals.

Bought a new 2025-3500 SRW less than 800 miles and had the steering go tight on me and the brake went down to floor.

Took it to dealer and same happen to service guy so he could understand the issue.

Anyone else ever had this happen or can assist.

If I recall correctly both steering and brakes use hydraulic pressure from the same pump. Assuming you have a diesel.

It’s a shame I’ve had the truck less than 30 days brand new off the lot.

Truck dropped off we’d morning for service .

I asked for a loaner and the advised they could not provide one until they diagnosed the issues with the truck

Called on Friday 10/31 and service said they will not get to it until Monday the earliest.

Talk about crap that they won’t give me a loaner.

That is crap. They can obviously tell the truck is not drivable and it is under warranty. Try Customer Care and see if they can do anything for a brand new truck.

Got called by service at dealership. Tec said he could not duplicate the steering and braking issue.

Said it was possible an air pocket in fluid and may have bled itself out.

I picked up truck and drove it around for 30 min in area of Dealership and also could not duplicate issue.

Weird guess it’s a wait and see thing.
