tell me how the cloth seats are? I’m coming from a 2022 Ram 1500 Laramie with leather.

Big difference or not so much?

I like the premium heated cloth seats in my ‘21 Big Horn….just not as much as the seat in my Super Duty work truck! The seats are comfy and durable and I would get them again.

I’m not a leather fan until you get into the high end stuff and I wasn’t going that route. JMO.

I think my 2020 Bighorn seats are comfortable and the heated function works great. That’s comparing them to our Lexus ES300h leather seats.

The only thing missing is the ventilation/cooling part that the Lexus has.

Ive had both.... theres a reason i build and spec my BH fully loaded. I purposely buy a BH because i dont want leather seats anymore, and ironically i find my truck has more features than most laramie on the road. They are very comfy and during the winter months (im in AZ so its like all of 2 maybe 3) the heating feature is good. The vented seats for me are great on long drives, yes i will admit it.... But the comfort of the cloth i love and getting 3rd degree burn when jumping in the truck when its been 115-120 outside sucks for leather, so id prefer getting bighorn. Vented seats doesnt mean AC right away, i found it takes a while for it too cool off, again long drives is where they shined for me. Plus the wife likes cloth as well.
Last but not least, i have a 3 year old, go to the sand dunes and I go boating often, so i use seat covers, the RC ones to be exact (4th truck with them).... so paying 10k more for leather seats i dont want then putting cloth seat covers over them anyways and a Laramie badge just didnt make sense at all. I choose BH every time and always will. There are other features i kinda wish i could get that BH doesnt have, but doesnt justify it for me as i want cloth.

Thanks that’s exactly what i was thinking and your comment makes feel good with my decision.

Do you install ceramic tint on your windows to include the entire front windshield? Makes a world of a difference. Blocks all the heat from the sun.

I recommend Llumar or Formula 1 which is a higher tier of tint made by Llumar.

They make a clear film for the entire windshield if you don’t want it to be dark. Still blocks heat.

Yes i do. Live in AZ and go to the desert/river often so in the sun all the time. Its pretty much a must for me.

I have 30% on the windshield and 5% all around currently. On my Warlock, Laramie and Bighorn 1500 i have 5% all around and 15% on the windshield.

Ceramic Tint? What brand?

The cloth seats in my ‘19 tradesman level 2 are more comfortable than almost any truck seat I’ve had including a king ranch. The lone exception would be an old suburban that basically had la-z-boys for front seats.

Ceramic tint is great. I have “air 80” on my windshield which provides the ceramic heat rejection without “looking tinted” so no effect on night driving or cops

Yep, wouldnt get anything less than ceramic, other wise its just for looks and cant see anything lol especially at night

All good points. Looking at BH now. Could also care less about the Leather. What is frustrating is that the Level packages are hard to directly compare. Why do they not just show what is different between the packages like some of the other brands do? Say Level 1 then Level 2 includes all of Level 1 + these additional features. Instead we have Level 1, 1 plus, Level 2, 2 plus o_O Deciphering the order guide is fun.

I do wish the fender flares were an option like on the Outdoorsman but even on the Laramie they were dropped. Bean counters at work.

Well the website actually does have all features listed on each one so you can compare them, so yes lvl 1 plus have everything lvl 1 has and level 2 has what they both have and level 2 has what they all have plus a few packages in (like bed utility, bed convenience, tow tech group, etc).

The website B+P should work like that but that is not how it reads. One example, Level 1 plus adds Apple Carplay and Android Auto, Level 2 does not have that. Same with a bunch of other features. Not even in alphabetical order so hard to compare what the differences are. Wife wants heated seats so appears s though must get Level 2 or 2 Plus. I want Carplay so looks like has to be Level 2 Plus to get both features. Clear as mud. Should be easier to compare options. Certainly not going to rely on the dealer to understand them.

Again, what ever the previous level has, the one above has it. However yes i do see what your saying its just not as easy as you want it to be with it not being in order, but not hard to understand it.

So you are saying Level 2 has Apple Carplay for instance even though it's not listed? Level 2 Plus clearly says it is included but Level 2 does not. The order guide also does not have it listed other than Level 1 and 2 Plus.. That definitely is not clear if what you are saying is true.

It absolutely does. Source: I have the Level 2 plus an my wife uses Apple carplay because she has Iphone.

Again i get what your saying, its not as easy or clear as you want it to be (or should be), but what whatever previous level has, the one up has it all and or upgraded/more.
