I used Michelin LTX A/T2 tires on my F350 DRW and was pleased with them overall. They were very quiet and I averaged 80,000 miles per set. However, they were not good in mud or any slippery surface.Hello, we do mostly summer, fall and spring towing. So, maybe an all around tire. Do want something great in snow, hills, mud in case back woods camping and fishing. Thank you
Replacing tires on my 2500 soon. I plan on going with a set of BFG KO3s.
Hi,
Can I ask, is it because they work well for the ride, weather, towing or just over all, the best tire you have had?
Thank you
Hi,
Thank you for your response. Did either of these tires do great in rain? Towing? Thanks again.
When I took delivery of my truck, the first thing I did was replace those Firestones with a set of Continental TerrainContact ATs. Really loved them for towing my travel trailer, smooth and quiet on the highway, great in the rain. Only area I was looking for improvement was in winter snow/ice. All the reviews and tests show that the new BFG KO3 is one of the best. A bit expensive, but those who have them seem to love them.Hi,
