2026 RAM HD Builds and Orders

Just some info on where my truck is at is the latest it was unloaded at Chicago and could show up any day at dealer is the last I have heard.

My account thru the Ram web page still said TBD for shipping. So, they are behind for sure on their updates.
Ordered July 3rd, so not to bad so far compared to the people with the 25 models.

Well sad update: no reply from @RamCares … crickets both in the DM and to this post.

To me this just reinforces that Stellantis does NOT want to sell trucks and make money and does NOT care about their customer base. I hope Antonio Filosa somehow reads this post because this is exactly why Ram is loosing market share and their sales and stocks are suffering.

Truck's in. 1 month and 1 day after submitting the build to Mark Dodge. Easy process. Hopefully flying in to pick it up this weekend, depending on work.

Any suggestions on which dealership to order from on the west coast?

I've reached out to a few local dealers in the SW Washington area and despite having 26s on the lot with discounts, none have been willing to cut a deal on a order.

Ordering would be ideal for my current situation as I wont be ready to purchase until November or later, otherwise I'd just search for whats on the ground.

Thank you for the update !

For anyone wondering … my truck is on the train expected mid October

Hey yall. Is it possible to track Canadian orders? I put a deposit on a Power Wagon that's supposed to be in transit. I have the order number but can't get it to work on the ramtruck website. Thanks

Canadian order here and if you look at my post / comment history I have been bitching about that very thing ... Best you can do is pester your dealer and hope for speedier than I am getting (8 + months)

You can see if either Dave Smith in ID or Dillon in Boise ID are willing to do they are top 2 in the PNW and if not try Granger Motors in IA as the saving will more than pay for the trip to pick it up and drive it home...

Your joking right? I have yet to see Tonkin offer any type of discount on any thing they sell...
That was not my experience at all. I wanted to go with Mark Dodge, but I couldn’t afford the time to go get it and drive home, and the additional cost of shipping was unknown. After very little negotiation, I was offered a very similar price at Tonkin without the delivery problem.

I thought the same thing also, which is why I went with a 'more local' dealer here in Michigan. However, it does appear that Mark Dodge gets their deliveries quickly since they don't have to be shipped by ocean or train pretty much after they get into the states. Would I do it differently next time? I don't really know. The road trip would be fun, but I have concerns buying from dealers that aren't a short drive away... even if Mark Dodge has a great reputation here on the forum.

I would have to agree with buying local. Sometimes saving that one penny is not worth it in the long run.

When it amounts to several thousand, why not? Whether you buy the truck at a local dealership or not, the service department gets paid exactly the same when working on a warranty issue. I’ve personally never seen a service department turn down money, unless they are denying a warranty claim.

Buying out of state adds a complexity and potential cost related to transportation, registration, different state emissions standards, and navigating a newstates tax laws, which can quickly erodeant initial savings.
I purchased a 4500 Ram flat bed out of Texas, im from AZ and it roughly cost me a extra 3K in registration fees. We really needed it and Texas was the closest place that had one.

If Mark Dodge was able to order Canadian Trucks, I would not have thought twice about it ! I’m not even a customer and they were beyond helpful to me. I reached out with questions and their response time and assistance was amazing. Unfortunately they are not able to do “international” stuff, but were able to help with what’s available and option combinations and a whole ton of info.

Seems like Canada is always complicating things, lol

I would up buying at Dave Smith in ID, I save $4500 after food, lodging and diesel to get the truck home & gas for the 1000 mile round trip of wife's car... Tonkin was the first time I ever had a dealer not take off the fake 5K markup for what would have been a cash sale on a $70K truck....
