What did you do TO your RAM today?

Completed the service I started 2 weeks ago lol. Renewed the air filter and the pollen filter was the only things left, done full drive train oils and filters two weeks ago and a decent bolt and nut check over front to back.
What a pain to swap the pollen filter. This filter is one year old and done 40,000km
Also completed the remote breather system I started a few months ago, the only breather that was not done when I originally started was the rear diff breather and I extended it today to join the rest of the breathers under the bonnet.
I’m not sure but guess your pollen filter is the cabin air filter behind the glovebox?

Did your replacement pollen filter look like that same material? It looks different than what I have seen in the USA and I’m guessing you’re in Australia?

I’m wondering if it will allow more air to flow?

Sorry, yes cabin filter we call it pollen filters Down Under. lol
I use a local manufactured unit from Queensland, its triple filters and has 10x more charcoal to absorb odours.
Just useless info the cabin filter in my 2024 Ram is exactly the same as the Range Rover’s L494

Cool

Are you at stock ride height? What is the benefit of the 5160 vs the 4600/5100s?

How are you liking your tires?

Do 3500s not have a rear sway bar?

I have Thuren .5 coils. Thuren sway bar. The 5160 is a bit firmer than the 4600. The reservoir is the difference from the 5100.

So far have 5k on the tires I like them they are pretty quiet and seem like I will get the 60k they are rated for with proper care.

No rear bar on 3500's

T143: Is the cabin filter as dirty as it looks like it is?

Just did the Wilwood Big brake conversion. My previous truck was hard slowing down the 37x22's and figured these will help slow it down better. Also, just added the Apex Chassis steering upgrade....these got some girth! Just taking a break so I can power bleed 'em but I'm getting too lazy now :( after crawling around on the ground for the past couple of days.

Oh man that’s a cool setup. Might look into these when the OE brakes are ready. Did you do just the front or the rear too?

Today my truck gone in for warranty work, I found a oil leak between the transfer box and gearbox when I was doing my last service. The dealership found the transfer box input seal was leaking but they renewed both the gearbox output and transfer input seals, I was impressed that they did both. Nothing but the right way.

Well my passenger taillight is taking on water and for the life of me I can't find any water intrusion on my led light. Will last week the parking light quit working and the brake light quit but the turn signal was working. Blew it all out and the stop light came back but not the parking light. So I started looking and these things are expensive. So I wanted black taillights anyways so I went with the smoke Morimoto XB taillights and they came in today. I say they really make the truck look a lot better. Also my rear Night edition conversion is almost complete as I am gonna try and wrap the chrome handle tomorrow to finish that off. Then on to the front end night conversion. Pity they didn't offer this color in a Night Edition. But these tail lights look fantastic and have a 5 year warranty.
