2025 Seatbelt Alarm Disable

They are allowed to turn off the seatbelt chime, it’s a function in the miscellaneous tabs of the bcm with their witech tool. I’m not guessing on this.
 
Hey Guy's, Just wanted to confirm that I do have the premium digital cluster on my Laramie trim 2025 3500 SRW. I have had the BCM flashed about one week after owning the truck for various bugs and disabled the chime after that... if this might make any difference. I'm tempted to try the procedure again, which should default it back to stock, and then re-enable again to disable the chime, but I got a good thing going on apparently.

Maybe for science :cool:

Edit: if this might matter. I don't think I ever tested this from a cold start. As I drive into certain areas, I unbuckle at between 5 and 30 mph, the cluster flashes a warning where the speedo is on the digital view and goes away, the idiot light stays on at the bottom right, and no chime. I'll test from a cold start tomorrow.

Cold start or middle of a trip mine flashes warning and chime when I take mine off and doesn't stop till its connected again. I've been doing the steps then waiting 2-3 days since my post and I still have yet to stop it from doing the chime. Sounds like it's on my list for dealer task next time I'm there.

The seatbelt trick doesn’t work on the digital cluster for 23-24 model years, so probably not on 25’s either.
The seatbelt trick does work on the cluster that has the two physical analog gauges, so anyone with a 2025 that chimes in and says it worked for them probably doesn’t have the full digital cluster.

@Jimmy07 I did the seatbelt chime disable on my 2026 Limited Mega Cab with the digital display today and it worked like a charm with the buckle un-buckle method. So not sure if they changed anything on the 2026 but worked for me.

  1. Sit in truck with everything off.
  2. Put seatbelt on.
  3. Turn ignition on but don’t start it. Wait for dash cluster to cycle.
  4. Take seatbelt off then on 3 times ending with the seatbelt on.
  5. Turn the ignition off. You will hear the seatbelt chime ding once and it’s disabled.
 
FINALLY got it to work on the 2025! I think I've tried it about 50 times without any luck. This time I was sitting in the truck for over 2-3 full minutes waiting for everything to turn off, waited for full dash off, the USB lights to go off etc then waited a bit more and I also waited like 2-3 minutes for "ON" with the seatbelt on before doing the cycle 3 times. Not sure if I just wasn't waiting long enough on either stage before but we have success so super happy.

I have a 2025 Laramie with the full digital dash.
