It says 10 ply on the side as seen in the photo and Yokohama are Japanese tires but made in the US same as toyo. FYI the guy you quoted lives down under so I doubt he cares if they’re US made

I actually do care where they are made. I will check tomorrow when at the shop, my truck is at the shop so on Tuesday it can go in for some warranty work. If I remember I will update the info tomorrow when I get home.
Its not stock ride hight I run 295/70/18

FWIW, actual ply count is not generally related to load ratings with current tire tech. E rated tires are no longer true "10-ply."

I have done about 600km with the new Yokohamas and must admit the first 2-300km I was disappointed in my choice, the tyres did not feel good on the road, it was like I could feel the tread on the road like a high frequency vibration. But after that the truck started feeling smooth and the tyres are handling the small road imperfections a bit softer and the feedback to the steering is very good. In short I am now happier with my choice the only thing is tyre noise, the Maxxis was like a mouse wearing slippers.
