I'm racking my brain on how they prioritize the plant builds. It seems to me that they went all out on Dually's first, then basic tradesman trucks. Next seems to be 2500 trucks. I've seen very few 3500 SRW Laramie Night editions. This is mostly based on looking at autotrader and cars.com for ads with actual photo's. I keep thinking if I wanted a black dually with a cummins, I would have the pick of the litter. But I'm paying the price for ordering a unicorn

Nothing wrong with that making it your own. I have not ordered but looking at certain trucks, but they are out of state and might see if local dealer will go after the trucks I am looking at or will just go to the dealer out of state and do the deal then. Waiting till after the first of the month to see if Ram does any better incentives yet. If not still might just wait. I am in no hurry.I'm racking my brain on how they prioritize the plant builds. It's interesting because I ordered a Forged Blue w/night edition. I've seen this color with night edition but only in 2500 short beds. The only 3500's in forged blue are tradesman/big horn chrome packages.

I've got a 2500 forged blue night edition 6'4 bed ordered. Dealer estimates it wont arrive until mid to late august. The trucks been built for three weeks already.
Woke up to the in production text on Wednesday and was able to generate build sheet late morning. Tracker showed estimated delivery of September and then updated to built yesterday with delivery TBD. It's currently KZ LD, hoping it's not too long of a wait to get to MD. No window sticker available yet.

Dealer just called... All 2025 orders have concluded. Anything going forward is a 2026. So mine will be a 2026, which at this point I've expected. At least it will have the 10yr/100k warranty. She said that 2025 orders that haven't been built will be "fast tracked" (her words) so they can proceed with the new orders coming in as 2026 models. She also added that the price looks to be about $700 more than what the 2025's were, but is hoping they can work something out with me to help with that... I've been talking to this sales lady since the January Detroit show, but had to wait for the other colors to be available. Lastly, it will be assigned a new VIN also, but probably the same VON.
well this is very interesting. so to ensure I understand correctly, even ordered placed in the "2025" order year if they have not been scheduled or started will be 2026 model year ? mine was confirmed May 22nd but nothing since then.

Yes, that’s the way it was explained to me. My confirmed page updated this last night or this morning as a confirmed date on 6-26-25. My original date was 4/21/25. It got a new VIN, but same VON.
Got my window sticker Friday afternoon, tracker shows it hasn't shipped yet. Hopefully it's not stuck in KZ-LD for an extended period

Mine says is has shipped on 19 June. Still no update on the TBD and the dealership is seeing it still at body vendor. Thoughts?
