My factory installed Transforce A/T’s were near the wear bars at a little over 16K miles. I’ve been researching what to get next and liked these new Ascents and decided on them when my next paycheck arrived. I went on Tire Rack last week to order these exact tires. I decided to take one last look at what else they had and BFG KO2’s were on clearance for $278 each with the sale price and an $80 instant rebate. They’re a little bit more “off-roady” than I would’ve gone for but for that price I couldn’t pass it up.

Please post updates on how you like these Ascents as I think they look great and have a nice tread pattern.

So far so good. Only have about 750 miles on them so not even really broken in. Had a 400mi trip towing the boat up to CT in the rain and they handled well on the highway. Weekend before that ended up on a steep hill at the marina in mud to park the rig and in 4H they did the trick backing up the hill.

I tossed a set on back in February. I drive a fair amount of miles for work, so I’m coming up on a couple thousand miles with them already.

I’ve been 100% happy with them on the road so far. Rain, snow, slush, dry performance has been fantastic, of course almost anything is better than the factory Transforce tires. Very quiet and good ride as well.

I have yet to have them off road, but they are a pretty ‘chunky’ tire in terms of tread so I imagine they will do just fine for the places I take my truck.

Does anybody have an update on how these Dueler A/T Ascents have been after some time? I like the look and idea of more off-road focused tires, but the reality is that I spend most of my time on-road, (but often in poor WX conditions) and quite a bit of time and distance pulling a heavy race trailer around in the summer. Therefore a well-composed and quiet ride needs to win out vs looking cool and being able to handle mud that I rarely end up in.

I've ran about 7800 miles on them through every type of spring and summer weather so far pulling a tandem axle boat trailer, that includes mountains in the rain. I have no complaints so far they handle like a dream and ride even better. I had them rotated at 5000 miles and there was little to no wear so far.

Question for you that have the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascents.

At Costco I saw a p-metric Dueler A/T Ascent and it didn’t look like the sipes on the outside lugs were full depth.

On the LT sizes are all the sipes full depth especially the ones on the outside lugs?
