2022 2500 Black Widow Rear Air Suspension ride height issues

Hey all -

I’ve been searching high and low for some intel on a hard to diagnose issue I’ve been having with my black widow.

The best way I can describe it is a clunk or pop from the back of the truck, which I can also feel in the brake pedal, when accelerating or braking quickly from a stop or coming to a stop. I’ve also heard a noise come from the rear which I found to be the rear stabilizer bar linkages on both sides. With the rear air suspension lowered fully, I was able to move the bolt on the drivers and passenger side rear stabilizer links. I tightened those up. The noise going over bumps has stopped from back there but I still have the weird pop on acceleration or braking. Any advice or things to check would be greatly appreciated. The U joints on the drive shaft seem to be okay. I can’t seem to replicate it by hand when it’s on the ground. I will try to record it tomorrow.
 
Update:

I had a shop go through and tighten everything up underneath it with the suspension. They said everything looked good. I attributed it to my offroad stuff rattling in the box. However, I emptied the box and much to my disappointment, the noise persisted. However I've narrowed it down.

1. When I lower the truck to alt trailer height, or bed lowering mode, and go find some bumps the issue goes away.
2. When I raise it back to default ride height, it goes away for a day or so, but then I noticed the suspension get bouncy and weird and it comes back until I mess with the air ride again.

I discovered a broken stud on the back facing drivers side air spring, there's two of them, a front and a back stud. The back stud is broken off inside of the airspring housing. I ended up ordering a new air spring. We will see what happens when it comes.
 
I have another update. After having it in, the passengers side air spring was at 0.14bar, and the ride height sensor was reporting some out of whack readings. It’s still doing it. What’s happening is that it gets lose in its mounting cup. To correct this, I bought two new ride height sensors and installed them, but the readings were still way off from what I expected and the problem persisted. I moved the little mounting piece on the bottom of the ride height sensor up one hole and it seems to be better and the spring always has over 1.5bar in it. What I’m wondering is what the normal readings from alfaobd look like from someone with a similar truck on a flat surface. Can anyone chime in on this? I did data log it.
 
Sounds like this “Black Widow” company doesn’t know what they’re doing.
 
I don’t think it’s their fault. Literally just fixed it on my own. ASCM computer calibration issue. Followed some guides, measured and used GPT to calculate some stuff and just resolved it. I think it was messed up when the dealer I bought it from did their safety inspection.

That’s good to hear. I’ve only seen one of their trucks in person and it looked like it had crashed through a JC Whitney catalog from 2005. Might have been stuff the owner did afterwards though.
