Bought a new 25 Ram truck last april of 24
After 3 months of ownership the engine light came on.
Went to dealer. "Okay we fixed it"
Next day comes on again. Return to the dealer.
They look at again - Oh not sure what it is. They said the manufacture knows about the issue they just have to fix for it yet. "We will call you when we get a fix. That was December 2024 -(Purchased on April 2024) So I go back tot he dealer ask if they have fix yet? "They say sure we do" they hook it up to something. I leave the dealership. The next morning, engine light is on again. they say "come on back over" This time they look at it and say the same thing they said in December 2024 that it is a manufacture issue and they know about it but they do not have a fix for it. They did mention another new RAM was in the previous day with the same issue. Now RAM said they will have there corporate mechanics look at but you need to leave it the dealership for awhile. I asked... So you do have a fix? You have been saying you don't have a fix. Now you want me to leave it for you to fix.
I'm pissed off. For 5-6 months this issue has haunted me. I have started a case with the Lemon Law company to see what they can do. I love RAM's I've had 4 of them in the past.
