I have a new in box kit listed here: https://hdrams.com/forum/index.php?...se-with-the-dvrm-23-and-24-models-only.19340/Theres a PDF from stellantis that says its 23+
I talked to a parts guy and he said this part is thru 26 (but that just what he said)
Im looking for that same camera kit (68586112AA) for my 2024 2500. It has the XH7 factory installed plug in the bumper . Mopar are useless, dealer is also clueless but want to charge me a fortune to program it.
Can I ask a 2 Qs?
Is part 68586112AA an actual kit (ie does it come with camera/camera holder/cable etc)? or is it just camera?
also was it plug and play or do you need dealer to program it? (On my Uconnect it shows aux 1-2, and i did factory install the coax plug on bumper).
Thankyou for any advice
I now have the new truck and can confirm the same camera works just fine.Does anyone know for sure that the same 68586112AA camera will work for 2025s? I just installed one on my trailer for my 23 but I’m trading in for a 25. Hope I didn’t make a mistake!
I just got a '25 and it has the DRVM and came with a wired camera to mount on the camper. Only problem is the plug in is in the bumper and I have a 5th wheel..... how do I go from inside the bed to the outside bumper? I'd really like to hook this up but don't see a good way of hooking it up and I don't want to drape it over the tailgate?
I seen this mod on YouTube but my dilemma is my truck is a corporate lease and we are not supposed to put any holes in it! I would really like to use this feature but it's not looking good.I have been reading for hours and still cant find where anyone has successfully moved or purchased parts to allow for the connection of the digital rear view for the trailer to the bed of the truck for those of us that have 5th wheels or Gooseneck trailers. Thought I would open up a new post and see if anyone has had success. I have purchased a 10' fakra cable and a 15' TNC RG58 cable to see if it can be added to the 50' cable and maintain image stability, as my setup is a 42' 5th wheel, and I don't think 50' will be enough. Both of these cables work and the image is stable. I...
I am guessing you have the 7pin in the bed with a 4 pin or 12 pin connector? Its weird they wouldn't have a FARKA connector in there if you have that trailer camera. I cant remember if my 2022 had the FARKA in the bed or just he bumper - I had a bumper pull then.I seen this mod on YouTube but my dilemma is my truck is a corporate lease and we are not supposed to put any holes in it! That vision works looks like a nice system! I have the 7 and 4 pin plugs in the bed and some type of Coax type plug in the bumper for the camera.I am guessing you have the 7pin in the bed with a 4 pin or 12 pin connector? My 2024 has the round 12 pin both in the bed and on the bumper that I use on my 5th wheel. The camera was a direct replacement for the Furrion Camera on the 5th wheel. It plugs in to the 12 pin and is on the AUX 2 under cameras. I got it from VisionWorks Cameras. Maybe they have a solution for adding a FARKA plug for you?

I finally went through this whole thread and found a guy that had a bungee cord support the wire and looks like it worked very well. I'm going to do this, can't wait to try it out! It’s not the end of the world to run the camera cord over the tailgate, cheap and easy.
