Issues Needing Attention from RamCares

@RamCares, here are two big issues we would all appreciate help with.

1)No TPMS on Ram 3500.
2)Auxiliary Camera Prep Package (XFQ) was not available for purchase for us early adopters of the new truck to our sincere disappointment even though it had been advertised during all of RAM's press and never mentioned it was not included or not available. Now when we order the prep package (Part #:82215833AB) we are told the dealer will need to "flash" the truck. I believe this flash should be offered at no cost by RAM to us, your most loyal customers given no mention of lack availability/not being included.

Help is much appreciated.
 
Do you mean TTPMS? If so, it isn't on the 2500 either...

I am also interested in your answer about the TTPMS and Trailer Camera.

I'm currently working with Adrian from RamCares on another case for our '19 Ram 1500. The dealer is buying back our 1500 because they sold it as having 1840# payload when the actual door sticker is 1220#. *There's a problem with FCA's Ram Configuration Tool. We're purchasing a '19 Ram 2500 that's already produced. Both of those features are very helpful since we're pulling an Airstream Travel Trailer with two axles (four trailer tires).

Fingers crossed it can be retrofitted.

Hi everyone,
We did receive word back on your questions. TTPMS is coming soon but we have not been given a release date. Regarding Aux Camera Prep, trucks that do not have the Aux Camera Prep package installed are still able to to have it added. This option is something customers would have had to pay for whether it came from the factory or the dealer. We hope this provides some clarification and we are always available via private message should you need any assistance!

What does "coming soon" mean? I have taken delivery on my truck already and it is not equipped with the TTPMS feature. What will it take to enable it on my truck? Will there be a cost associated with it? Is there hardware I need to purchase? uConnect flashes needed? Any more detail would be greatly appreciated.

Hi jpaeth,
The TTPMS is not available yet. No trucks are currently equipped with this feature. That is all the information we have received. When it is released, all information to your questions will be made available. We apologize for any inconvenience.

OK, so for now coming soon means it will soon be added to the new production trucks off the line. There is still no new information for us who were unlucky enough to be early adopters of the new model.

So, If we've ordered the tow tech group and didn't get TTPMS is this something that Ram will upgrade at their expense when it is available and will we be notified?

Hi bobohio,
As of now, that is all the information we have received regarding the TTPMS. Once it is released, more information will be available to answer any remaining questions.

These question's are for Ram Cares...When will the 2019 Ram Accessories be loaded in the Mopar Parts accessories section? I'm looking for a Bed Step to fit my 2019 Ram 3500 SRW? Also dealers can't find any parts for the 2019 Ram HD's as the part numbers have not been loaded into their parts system...when will dealers have the part numbers loaded? Last, when will the Wireless Trailer camera that has been mentioned in Mopar brochures for the past 6 moths actually be available from Mopar?
 
If I represented a feature to one of my customers and they relied on that to make the purchase, it would only be ethical for me to provide it.

Yes I have taken ownership, I have checked out the store @mopar.com and the Ram trucks website, along with my dealer and now you...I still have no answers. Its very frustrating when an organization says they are going to produce something on a vehicle and then it doesn't happen as soon as they say its going to happen (not happening until the next year model...or at least that's what they are saying now). Then they advertise certain items (Wireless Trailer Camera) and its no where to be found and everyone at FCA has a tight lip as to when or if it will actually come to fruition. All is very frustrating and some what disheartening.

i ordered a new Ram 3500 on 5/20 and it got to the dealership on 6/27.

When the dealership sent me the paperwork, on 6/28 they included an Arbitration agreement which would require me to give up any right to sue them but required arbitration. I told the dealership that I would still buy the truck but wouldn't sign the agreement. They told me they sell about 200 cars a month and everyone the past 10 years signs it, even those who seek legal advice and Attorneys themselves. They refused to sell me the truck so I guess I will look around and decide what to do next.

i agree i ordered a 3500 longhorn loaded and understood that the truck should have came with ttpms and trailer cam

Tccracer, I have a suggestion. Find another dealer in the area and ask them to do a dealer trade for your original truck. You likely have the VIN or enough info. The original dealer may be wise to it but it’s worth a try!

I did reach out internally to see if there was any additional information regarding the TTPMS. There is currently no information available to our team with no ETA. Once I hear something, I will update the appropriate thread.
