It appears the PW has a unique part number for the rear sway bar* and rear sway bar end link.

My first question: the rear sway bar link for the PW is listed as 10.3” long vs regular is 11.05” long. I cannot figure out why they would make the link shorter, rather than if anything, longer? The frame on the PW is further away from the axle, so the link would need to be longer to have the sway bar be parallel with the ground?

My second question, anyone with a regular hemi 2500 cc short bed care to measure their rear sway bar diameter with a set of calipers??

(*there are actually a few rear sway bar part numbers for the 2500, depending on engine, cab/bed configuration, and air suspension…and then the PW has its own PN: 68453385AB)

I dont know on the sway bar link length. The sway bar diameter is 1.032/1.034.

Interesting…That’s a Hemi crew cab short bed?

My PW rear sway measured about 0.8” diameter

the assumption is they are the same wall thickness or both solid, but definitely seems the PW one would have significantly lower spring rate. Just another factor in the PW suspension being unique

I’ll have to measure my link length later, but seems a bit of conflicting info on rockauto. It makes more sense the PW link would be longer than the standard 2500.
Mevotech PW link 10.3”
Mevotech Regular 2500 link 11.05”

Dorman PW link 10.25”
Dorman regular 2500 link 9.44” (this matches what rockcrawlindude measured)

Power Wagon Sway Bar End Link length ~10.25” C-C, which checks out with what Dorman and Mevotech have listed

CJC sells Carli adjustable sway bar links for the Power Wagon. With the carli 3.5 inch lift they spec it set at 13-7/16 center to center so the sway bar will not invert itself on full axle droop.
Most the lift kits I find offer more axle droop and that is the main reason for the sway bar links being longer.
