I agree with you. I find it hard to understand their charts. To me, looking at the table listing in the hd catalog, a CCLB DRW with a payload of 5,060 lbs and a GVWR of 13,500 would end up weighing 8,440. I dont understand how a heavier engine/trans can decrease the GVWR of the truck, should just reduce capacity. I mean if the truck weighed 8,440, shouldn't the payload be 5,560 if it truely had a gvwr of 14,000? Not to mention there are several conflicting charts available online as well as notes that don't make sense. I still suspect that truck is going to show up with a gvwr of 13,500.
