2020 Ram 2500. A lot of times I travel with my kids (4 of them) so the oldest sit at front with us. Because of that I don't have a cup holder. Would like to get something like the one you hang on the door or window. Have any of you tried one? If Yes which one would you recommend.

My truck came with foam insert cup holders in the door pockets. I haven't tried them yet, the pockets seem a little narrow for some cups but maybe they would work for you. Should be available at a Ram parts dealer.

I will have to google that. I bought the truck brand new and never had them. Maybe it was an option

Just search Amazon for "2020 ram 2500 foam door cupholders" and a bunch of cheap options will come up. They are identical to the Mopar ones.

Mine came with the foam inserts as well. I'll say that they are useful backup cupholders for long drives but not a very convenient location to actively use. It's low on the door so can be a little tricky to access - I wouldn't want to reach down there each time to take a sip. Though, it may be a good first step in this situation!

Exactly how I use mine... they are very useful on those long trips.

I put a tape measure, keys, OLFA knife etc. anything I don't want banging around in the hard plastic door pockets.

Yeap. To far down to use it unless it's just for a bottle of Gatorade that I will sip from time to time

I know it might sound crazy but how about one that fits inside that little storage compartment in the door arm rest or just purchase a insert and cut a hole in the arm rest

The cupholders are also available through Geno's Garage, just search "cup holders". I believe that these are genuine Mopar parts. Also, a great place for maintenance items and I have always received exceptional service.

I bought one of these. Fits left or right vent and is well made. My buddy had one and I ordered mine the day I saw his.

I like that!!

Never mind on the drilling a hole and put an insert there idea. I thought there was more room there....
