How to: 2023 Laramie/limited seats in 2022 ram 2500 trademen

We are getting these codes after swapping seat adjuster on my limited. Mopar Seat Adjuster 68455848AA.

Any suggestions what the problem is?

After connectors were cleaned and reconnected all the errors from the screenshot are gone now. Yay.

Donor seats 2023 ram 2500 limited memory seats
My Truck 2022 ram 2500 trademen w manual seats

Passenger was plug and play -no issues with srs or seat belt sensor

Driver seat to simplify it

memory control module for 13-22

Swap out the 23+ seat harness with the 19-22 (plug and play) and remove 23+module

replace the 23+ module with the 13-22 module, again all plug and play, with no srs or seatbelt issues(will have to ziptie, double side tape, fab up a mount, etc for module)

Side note - the driver seat wont do anything, if you dont have the memory module, so make sure to get it at the same time as the harness,

Then make your changes in alphaobd for seat options etc

No cutting splicing repining required

This is exactly the info I had been searching for. Bought a 2023 Laramie interior for my 21 tradesman. Ordered the stuff you mentioned above for the driver seat. My only other question, is if anyone has tried the 7” gauge cluster from a 2023 in a 21? I also got the entire dash along with my Laramie interior. If I can’t I guess worse case I can just sell it and buy a new one. Also got the 12” head unit. I was going to swap over. It’s the full complete dash so the module and wiring harness for the 12” is still in it. Even the BCM and all is still in the 23 dash.

Okay waiting on the driver seat harness and all. But tried to put passenger seat in and back seat while waiting on that. Of course my luck, everyone says it’s plug and play no issues. But my passenger seat also sets off the airbag light. Do I need to reset that with AlfaOBD or something?

I have a 2020 Bighorn with the folding mirrors and powered driver seat options. I just bought a set of 2024 ram 2500 limited seats. Will I still need to buy the module and harness or does my truck probably already have everything I need to swap over?

You will have to replace the harness and module. 19-22 are the same while 23-25 are the same.

I've been following this thread. Currently swamped 2023 seats into my 2022 ram bighorn with Manuel cloth seats . I bought module and harness for drivers side as you suggested. Everything is installed. Passenger and driver seat s have power and functioning .But 2 things 1 is a black plug coming up from under carpet will not plug into the black seat plug close but not the same .and I can't seem to find how to activate heated seats and wheel using alpha obd.i have uconnect 5 8.4 in my truck from factory. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

Same thing here. Everything is done besides the black plug isn’t the same. That’s all that’s holding me up. I just need to find the part number for the connector and I’ll pin it in. That’s what powers the heated and cooled seats from what I gather.

Thanks to this thread I was able to add heated and cooled memory seats from a '23 Rebel into my '22 Tradesman, and everything works great. The only problem I'm having, is that my seats are memory seats, and I got Laramie door panels with the memory buttons on the door panel. When I went to install them, I didn't see any way to plug in the memory switch with the current wiring. Did I miss something? Do I need to get wiring out of a Laramie to make it work?

Also, does anyone know if I can make the accent lighting work on the door panels?

Currently rebuilding / swapping 2019 power / heated seats into my 2024 Tradesman.

Does your truck have power fold mirrors?

If so, you need the following driver's seat harnesses and heated seat control module:

Seat Cushion wiring - 68550113AD
Seat Back Wiring - 68591505AA
Heated Seat Module - 68592512AB
Memory Seat & Mirror module (Only if you don't have existing power fold mirrors, if you do, this module is already under your driver seat.) - 68534876AD

Power fold mirrors have nothing to do with the seats unless you have the memory option. I have power fold mirrors but do not have the memory option, so no memory seat and mirror module. Also, the heated seat module (called comfort seat and wheel module) I got was part number 68530206 and mine is a 2019. Wonder what the difference between the 2 part numbers is?

Got it all figured out and done. The only light I had on was the airbag one, unplugged the passenger seat, seat belt latch and it went away. It was throwing it all off considering my truck didn’t factory have the passenger seat, seat belt light. I could have probably turned it on with Alfa though. But didn’t mess with that. Now just figuring out why everything works perfect, but the heated seats.

how about going the other way? going from 21 seats into a 26 tradesmen? I would need this harness 68647940AB and this module 68550020AB? and find the correct module for the passenger side?
