Had one on my 05, but not on my 18 or 22.
Modern oils keep soot from agglomerating and that makes it nearly impossible to filter out. Other wear metals can be filtered out with good full flow filters like the Donaldson DBL7349.

This might be worth a watch before installing an Amsoil bypass. This guys stuff is always entertaining.
I had on in my 2002 for 15 years, worked for that application
