Which cable do I use

I have a 2022 RAM 2500 and I want to be able to change some settings with AlphaOBD. As the title eludes to, which cable do I need to use? The first cable (black) is much easier to install, but I have seen websites state that cable is only good for up to 2021 trucks. The other cable requires me to pull the cluster, which I would prefer not to do. Thanks in advance for the help!

That top cable looks correct except that it appears to be missing one of the connections. I left mine connected in the truck but I distinctly remember having to plug in two small connectors plus the big one for the OBD port.
Could it be the top cable has the two small connectors but I just don't see them?

Top one has only 1 connector. Do you have a link to the cable you’re talking about?

I have the top cable installed in my 24 3500 and it works fine at least with JScan. I would assume (although we know what happens when we do...) that if it works with JScan, it will work with AlfaOBD. I was able to use Alfa to look at the settings so I know it will at least connect through it, but made all my changes with JScan.

Good catch, neither cable is correct.

Nether, the black one is only good for somethings but not everything as it needs 2 leads for the can bus blocks to access the high speed network
