2025 RAM 3500 ordering options

Basically I'm going to wait awhile. Right now, watching the RHO forums, I have no faith that the rollout of the 2025 HD trucks will be clean. And so far they haven't shown that they are doing this in any coordinated fashion. In the meantime, I'll get a Jeep to go on trails for now. And keep borrowing my friend's truck.

It wasn’t this bad in ‘20 when I ordered my truck. I thought I was special. A month later it was the only way you could get a new truck .

My 2018 I was able to order early summer of 2017. I did not receive it until November because they were unable to ship trucks to America. I understand those transport issues were fixed. But the point is the 2018 order books, correct build and price were all good to go by mid year the year before. Maybe things became janky post 2020? 2018 saw no significant updates, but neither does 2025 for the PW. I did a build and price on the 2024 so I could see where the Ram Boxes are, and on 2025 nothing in that spot. I know the strategy was to get rid of 2024s. I could see delaying 2025s some for that, but not until 2025 and not having incomplete build and price, certain models, features and colors not available and so on. That is a bad look and holding back some committed buyers. They did a rope a dope in on the Jeeps as well, just not sure how sound a strategy it is at some point.

You can get the air suspension if you order the diesel, max tow package and dual rear wheels. It is included in the Max Tow Package and you must have the dual rear wheels.

Ram is really blowing it on some of this. Some bean counter is disenfranchising a lot of buyers. I want a Big Horn and MegaCab. Can't get any more. I want air suspension like you, but I do NOT want a dually. So frustrating. I have NO INTEREST in painted bumpers. Guess what? They made them STANDARD. Now you have to pay extra for chrome. The thing is, the person ordering the truck is too lazy to check that box. So many otherwise perfect trucks for me sitting on the dealership lot do not have chrome bumpers. Double frustrating.....
I understand the frustration, however the chrome bumpers are all of $95

Update: Now if you select the fifth wheel prep the ordering software auto deletes the Rambox! If they make the air suspension available without getting a dually, I'll order immediately.
ordering the 5th wheel option has always deleted the rambox. I am on their web site and cannot see the air suspension anywhere, SRW or Dually. My '21 3500 had that option when I ordered

I bought a 24 Dually with Painted bumpers. I decided to try a Dually and I love it. I will never go back as long as there are no drastic changes to my Lifestyle. I had a choice of White, Silver and Granit Crystal. I chose Silver because it looks the most natural with painetd bumpers.
