Trailer tow switch default

Hello,
Does anyone know if the tow switch function can be changed? I want to place the tow switch in the on position and have it stay on until I turn it off, as it is now I turn it on and it turns off when I shut the truck off and I have to press the tow function every time I start the truck, this happens several times a day. Thanks
I should state this is a 2022 ram 2500 8 speed

you should only be using it when towing/hauling 4k+ lbs as per the manual.

without tuning no you cant keep it in the last known state and most tunes dont actually have it lock on. They are supposed to stay in tow haul if you have a trailer with brakes connected. Some have made a 7 pin plug with a resistor but it is mixed results with it actually working most people it does not work consistently

If you have a trailer plugged into the 7-pin, the TH should stay on.

If you don't the only way to keep it on is to build a 7-pin "dummy" plug. Doing so will disable the rear park sensors if equipped.
