You don’t by chance know what the dates they opened up each modem for the 2024 run was? For the gassers anyways. I don’t want to keep pestering you about the rebels, so im hoping maybe last years run might be an indication of what I can expect for a wait for this years. I’d expect it to be soon with them opening stuff up at the beginning of January.

My apologies for being a pain, I’m just in desperate need of a truck for work and only things left anywhere near me for 2024s are 150k optioned up

No pain at all! My recollection is that the 2024 HDs opened all at once BUT there was a gap where there was no pricing LOL. So at least this time we have that !
FWIW the website was not online for over a month on that transition either.

Oh the website I can also rant about … the America site (I use 90210 zip code cause of the tv show lmao) on the rebels it won’t let you see what it looks like with two tone or bench front and forces you to have level 2 equipment … Canadian site it does not show 2025s at all, only 2024s

Who at Ram will answer to another drop in sales as you cannot even place orders a month into the model year, and frustrated buyers go elsewhere? I have to wonder if Tim is aware of how bad things are and if they are holding emergency meetings right now. I almost feel like they need to take down the ordering for 2 weeks, then reset and announce everything is right. Order codes, website, able to order paint, able to order power, able to order air and what ever else is still missing. I mean, is this not just a terrible look for a brand with declining sales? And this is all post announcing the best they could do on the gasser is reduced power, and few other updates....That were delayed since last summer.....

No one. It’s not unusual for HD orders to lag way behind the 1500s. The website usually doesn’t show the new model year until people have actually had trucks in their driveways. This is not strange or unusual.
 
A friend ordered a F 350 2025 in Nov. It still hasn't begun production either. Just to put things into perspective.
 
I'm curious on how orders are going to be affected by the 25 % tariffs beginning tomorrow.
Mexico president said that she is closing all ties with America starting tomorrow.
I have a 2025 on order and this most likely will postpone it for some time to come.

Valid concern for sure, very curious myself. If they come back, and well its a 100K+ truck now, Ford it is.
 
this tariff stuff just got real. I'm not 100% sure how it will work, but if it really means my truck on order goes from $93k to $116k that's a problem a big problem I don't know if it will be that direct math or not. Maybe AnthonyRI can explain if and how this tariff will effect prices of the new trucks. I'm really concerned now.

It’s unlikely that we’ll see anything other than a direct 1:1 effects. I can’t see Stellantis eating the additional cost.
 
Talk about devastating to Ram. Instant collapse in sales, instant regret over moving manufacturing to Mexico for such as cash cow. I mean, I think the lesson is build your cash cows in country. If you want to build cheapo cars, then take that risk to save money. This could basically end the Heavy Duty production for a year if nothing is resolved, and Ford will clean house like no-bodies business. However, even all the foreign parts are going to cause another round of un-sustainable vehicle inflation. Would have been nice to order sooner, but here we sit in February and you cannot order paint for a truck. Makes the move of releasing the new, hardly updated model year 6+ months late look even more stupid.
 
Yeah it'll likely cause a price increase, but it'll just be 25% on the engine vs 25% on the whole assembled vehicle for RAM.
 
Maybe, but as a business owner, I will raise my prices just under tariff goods in order to make a better profit. I believe corporations will do as well since they did it before. YMMV.
 
I'd like to hear from Mark Doge, what happens to our preorders with this new tariff. If it increases vehicle price what happens with our deposit?

If RAM just shuts down production or brings it to crawl hoping for tariffs to be resolved are we stuck being out $1k deposit for 6 months to a year or however long it takes.

Mark dodge wont change anything. You’ll pay it when you register your vehicle and get charged the taxes at that point. I think that’s how the vehicle sellers will treat it. It’s essentially a tax on foreign imports be it maple syrup or Ram Parts.
