Tow mirror upgrade

Im looking to upgrade my 2019 ram 2500 tradesman from regular mirrors to tow mirrors. I don’t need anything fancy. No power fold or anything, just the regular black manual folders. I snagged some that are off a 2020 and they do not fit. I thought the 2019 and newer would all be compatible but apparently not. Does anyone have any recommendations for either aftermarket or a line on some factory ones that aren’t $600? Ram is back ordered for god knows how long, and there are a lot of companies that make aftermarket ones but all have mixed reviews. Pics below of the ones I picked up that ended up not fitting. Thanks in advance for any help or advice

what doesn't fit? they should be same, with exception of the plug, based on trim level.

The stud spacing is wrong. And the stock ones are pretty flat where they mount on the door. These stick out quite a bit and don’t sit flush. And the concern I have with boost is that the ones they have say they work with 2019-2022 and idk how that could be since these are clearly different.

I got mine at rock auto. They were mopar.

I would check the part number on the mirrors, if the bolt spacing is different I bet they are from a 19+ 1500

Turns out you’re right. They are for 1500’s. Crap. Now I gotta try and get rid of these and then find some 2500 mirrors.

Did your truck have the stock non tow mirror? And did you have to upgrade the door switch?

There is nothing to change in the door switch if you have the stock non towing mirrors…. Just bolt the new ones on and plug them in

I had the stock mirrors and these plugged into the stock switch. I did add the mopar braces for the tow mirrors.
