*Breaking News* 2025 Orders from MARK DODGE **

My 2020 3500 Mega Cab has the rear auto level, and I have to say I am also sad they don't offer it anymore. My issue was, I always forgot to engage it after hooking up my boat. We have a 2019 without auto level and there at least with our truck no difference with the ride between the two when empty.

It's always on. The only thing you would "engage" is to use Alt Trailer Height to lower (level) the bed 1".

Could be one of those trucks that was calibrated wrong from the factory so it's always sitting on the springs instead of the air. I remember there being a few people with that issue here.

When I would hook up a trailer it would make a very light adjustments, but it seemed once I engaged it by the push button it would level out and the dash would read alternat height achieved. At least that's how it seemed, I could be wrong, but it seemed that way.

That sounds normal, but it’s always on unless actively disabled. It’s either in normal or alternate ride height.

Yea, I always locked mine out hooking up by using the bed lowering, otherwise it's trying to autolevel as the load changes (during hookup).

You know you can quite easily add aftermarket airbags (i.e Firestone) for about $500ish with an hour or 2 of labor to install.

It fixes the under load problems, but doesn't help the unloaded ride quality much (the 3500 SRW had leafs removed, and the 2500 had the bag as the suspension).

Don't recall seeing these before:

DROWSY DRIVER DETECTION (XNM)
TRAFFIC SIGN RECOGNITION (SJB)
DUAL WIRELESS CHARGING PAD (CMS)
14.4" TOUCHSCREEN DISPLAY (RHZ)
ACTIVE LANE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (XNW)
NEXT GENERATION ENGINE CONTROLLER (NZD)
PEDESTRIAN/CYCLIST EMERGENCY BRAKING (LST)

This is a screenshot from Section 24220 of H.R. 3684 - the "Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act" passed by the Biden Administration:

This is part of a new suite of "active safety" features - soon to be mandatory - that are increasing the cost of new vehicles, and increasing their complexity. I'm not going to even get into the topic of having a "safety" feature that can "prevent or limit motor vehicle operation if an impairment is detected". That's some totalitarian BS right there.

None of the features on the 2025 Ram meet the criteria for the impaired driving technology in the bill you’re referencing (and also, don’t just post a pic of half the requirements).

Its cool with me if you don't like my post, but I'm also happy to clarify.

"Drowsy Driver Detection" is a euphemism for "Drunk and Impaired Driving"; the Drowsy Driver Detection is phase 1 of the rollout, and it involves a warning light if the on-board computer things you are "drowsy" or otherwise impaired. Phase 2 is going from just a warning light to actually shutting the vehicle down - at least according to the legislation that was passed.

I also see "autonomous emergency braking" as a step in the direction of what I referenced - but maybe that's just me. I understand that folks will have very different opinions on this. Anyone who has lost someone to a car accident has my sincerest sympathy, and I understand that for many folk every possible safety feature is a good thing. Truly, I get it. From my perspective though, I'd rather see the emphasis placed on driver-responsibility. I'd rather live in a world where we hold folk responsible for their actions behind the wheel - as opposed to one in which we depend on technology to take over for us, or one in which our vehicles can be shut down. I don't trust that the tech will work properly, and I don't like the possibilities that this opens up.

Lastly, I figured posting a link to the full text of the bill was enough - folks who care can go check it out for themselves. I didn't think multiple screenshots were necessary, but you can post more images from the bill if you want.

We're not all going to see things the same way. Nothing wrong with that. All the best!

The good news is for now, that stuff is a package you can choose. In a few years I am sure it wont be. Some states will be adding a speed Nanny as well, very frustrating. Thanks for posting I wondered what the stupid Drowsy driver warnings were in some cars, apparently an early roll out of this crap.

That'd be amazing. If that's confirmed (can you share updated guides too please please), then they need only get more colors opened up!

They also need to open up orders for the rebels. I’m on the edge of my seat here being annoyed that I can’t replace my written off truck

Drowsy driver detection isn’t step 1 of anything. It’s a feature that many luxury and European cars have had for over a decade. If you turn it on it just tells you that you might want to take a break if your steering inputs indicate you might be falling asleep. It’s nothing new, and nothing sinister.

Autonomous emergency breaking is just it hitting the brakes if it senses a possible collision. You can turn it off, just like you’ve always been able to. I like it, it definitely works and saved us from a collision when someone cut across from a side street. It hit the brakes before my brain had told my foot to move off the gas.

We hold drivers plenty responsible, but that hasn’t stopped people from driving tired, and I bet you have airbags and seat belts and anti-lock brakes, all of which were brand new (and extra cost optional) safety features at one point.

THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT SRW AIR SUSPENSION APPEARS IN CODE GUIDES - will do a deeper look over next few days, just saw it populate tonight when I was setting up an order!!!
I was just on the bui
Air is available now, maybe paint will be available soon
I was Just on the build for the 3500 and did not see rear air. Where did you see it to say it's available?
