How to: 2023 Laramie/limited seats in 2022 ram 2500 trademen

seen another post were it was recommended to replace the connectors with molex and repin both, just wondering if anyone has succuessfully done this yet

Update - passenger seat is plug n play

Driver seat will require new connectors and repining, as its one large black connector compared to the 22

will update when accomplished with share pics, just gotta find the pin out diagrams and decide what connectors to use

Update:

After studying the harness pinouts, seems pretty simple, after i get everything done i will post details, for future use

Passenger was plug and play -no issues with srs or seat belt sensor

Driver seat to simplify it

memory control module for 13-22

Swap out the 23+ seat harness with the 19-22 (plug and play) and remove 23+module

replace the 23+ module with the 13-22 module, again all plug and play, with no srs or seatbelt issues(will have to ziptie, double side tape, fab up a mount, etc for module)

Side note - the driver seat wont do anything, if you dont have the memory module, so make sure to get it at the same time as the harness,

Then make your changes in alphaobd for seat options etc

No cutting splicing repining required

Currently rebuilding / swapping 2019 power / heated seats into my 2024 Tradesman.

Does your truck have power fold mirrors?

If so, you need the following driver's seat harnesses and heated seat control module:

Seat Cushion wiring - 68550113AD
Seat Back Wiring - 68591505AA
Heated Seat Module - 68592512AB
Memory Seat & Mirror module (Only if you don't have existing power fold mirrors, if you do, this module is already under your driver seat.) - 68534876AD

Will you be able to turn them off using AlfaOBD.

No, you can't turn them off, as the canbus system is missing the correct feedback signals from his airbags and seat belts.

Also, 19-22 seats won't work in 23-24 trucks without changing the driver's seat harness and modules.

Can confirm, although Mopar shows different part numbers for the 19-22 and 23-24 passenger seat wiring harnesses, the earlier passenger seat will fit the 23-24 trucks.

Folks have to keep in mind, 2023 and newer trucks operate on an entirely different communication language over the 2019-2022 trucks, along with revised modules to work with that programming.

I've been following this thread. Currently swamped 2023 seats into my 2022 ram bighorn with Manuel cloth seats . I bought module and harness for drivers side as you suggested. Everything is installed. Passenger and driver seat s have power and functioning .But 2 things 1 is a black plug coming up from under carpet will not plug into the black seat plug close but not the same .and I can't seem to find how to activate heated seats and wheel using alpha obd.i have uconnect 5 8.4 in my truck from factory. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

I have the front seats up and running now.but the back seats are not plug and play. Iam not going to say you can't make them work with the center console switches but we are both missing some wires that connect in the dashboard. So for me it's more trouble and cost than it's worth at this point and if I do try I will probably contact a automotive wire shop and see what they say and how much .

My truck is already pre-wired for the rear heated seat, wasn't sure if yours was or not, was curious if it was the same issue as the driver's seat, that they made different plugs or it they were the same plugs.

My 2022 is pre wired for the rear seats but to control the heat with switches in the console through research on different threads I read that iam going to be missing a couple wires to control them.and for the driver's seat a 2023 and 2024 s have a different plug attached to the wire harness on the seat on the driver's side .

I see, but did the seats plug into the prewired plugs you already had there, and can you at least control the backseat from your radio controls until you get the hard switches wired?

The back seats plugged in.you won't b able to control them from the radio. They are hard wired only

I found my set On Ebay front rer and center console.

I didn't end up buying the Limited seats, I decided to go with seats out of a Laramie, just FYI what I have noticed is most places will only sell them as a set, being both fronts and rear seat together, here is the link to the Limited seats I was looking at, from my understanding they told me they came out of a 24 model, and I would have had to do some harness swapping under the seats to make it work with my 21, guess in 23-24 they made the plugs different from what I've read.

We are getting these codes after swapping seat adjuster on my limited. Mopar Seat Adjuster 68455848AA.

Any suggestions what the problem is?
