Anyone have condensation issues on the roof under the headliner? Drove the truck today and had water start leaking out of the driver a-pillar handle and the sunglasses holder as well as dripping down the windshield. Been mostly dry surprisingly in WA but down to 25 and then little suns and 40s during the day. Once I got home I started pulling the a-pillar then the headliner down and found the whole roof with condensation. Not sure if it’s just from the temperature fluctuations or something open or leaking. Dried what I could with a towel and letting it air out with the doors open.IMG_1499.jpegIMG_1497.jpeg

That first picture sure looks like condensation. I could see that happening if the roof is in direct sun during the day, followed by the cold nighttime temps we have recently experienced. I live in Snohomish, but my truck is a garage queen when not in use.

Any chance you have a water leak and it’s evaporating during the day and condensing up there? That’s a lot of water! Check under your back seats see if the floor is wet.

I’m down in Auburn but that’s what I’m hoping as our house is in the direct sun these sunny days we’ve had after the 25’s low. Truck isn’t driven often also.

None that I can see, I checked the antenna mounts with the headliner down and poured water on them both. No water under the back seats, third break light was replaced last year due to the light getting water in it so hopefully it has the updated or better seal.

If you can't find any obvious leak areas, keep your eye on it once you have dried it out. If you don't notice this happening once the weather gets back to normal (moderate temps and rain), that would point to condensation. You mentioned the whole roof was covered with moisture, which would also point to condensation.

Check the back break light/ Cargo light on the back top of the cab. Mine was damaged on my 2019 2500 and it totally leaked into the truck. That light seal will allow moisture to come into the cab roof liner. It's a freaking known issue I found out. :)
