Adding a sliding rear window

Hello all,

I have a 23 2500 with a non sliding window. I would like to add one but can’t seem to find much info if can just utilize a plug that is there to power a motor or not. I also can’t seem to find the jumper from the window motor to the plug. I was told I need a complete cab harnesses which seems excessive.

Or could I possibly wire up one of the supplied auxiliary switches? Any takers?

Not sure if either of you are still interested in this, but the connector that you have circled is for the sliding rear window motor, although it sounds like you may have already known that. I would think the motor would come with the wiring to connect right to that connector?

Also, the connectors for the heated rear window (defogger) are basically 2 more trim piece removals away, just tucked behind the C-pillar trim - 1 on either side. If you were ever interested in adding that too, you can get the power sliding/defogger window and just change the settings in AlfaOBD.
