Correct. Alfaobd can’t do it on 2019+ HD Ram trucks.Even though the option and place to enter the numbers is there? I found posts with instructions on doing it on a 4th gen.

FYI - my truck (‘24 PW lvl2) has the RVDM from the factory, and when I put a topper on and installed a long fakra cable to move the camera back to the topper, I occasionally get this error message. I’m guessing something to do with the resistance of the longer cable may be triggering it - but it only mildly bothers me, and is very intermittent, so I haven’t dug in further. Not sure that’ll help, but it is a data point, and if there are solutions to test, I am happy to try them out! Can also provide a alfaOBD log file if anyone needs it!Have been working with @Jimmy07 offline to add the rear-view digital mirror to my MY23 RAM 2500 Rebel, and we're out of ideas. Installed the mirror 3+ months ago and it's always worked great. Went to finally go change the code with AlfaOBD and now have a silly erroneous error message that I can't get rid of.
Digital Rearview Mirror Unavailable Service Required
Went to change the 2 lines of code after adding my rear-view digital mirror.
CBC Config I/O Usage: RVDM Present: No to Yes
LIN & Misc: CRVMM Present: Yes to No
Soon as I make the change, I get this silly error message which briefly comes up upon initial startup. (No CEL, though.) Everything works, (RVDM has always worked since I installed it) and I now have the exterior auto-dimming rear-view mirrors restored with the code changes. Tried reverting the changes back to the original states and the silly error message remains. Coding is not supposed to work like that!
Added RVDM 68519222AA and the CHMSL with the extra camera 68465998AA. Dropped the headliner from the back just a tad so I could run a 10' Fakra cable. Has been working great for 3+ months, no problems. Only problem now is the erroneous error message.
Have to take it to the dealer for the SCCM recall, not sure what they will do with the error message.
It’s the physical tail lights themselves. For some odd reason, they got rid of the amber leds on the boards and went back to red. Then they REALLY went backwards with the 2025’s and went back to combined rear lighting. Is there a way to make the led turn signals red?
I was behind a 23 or 24 today with the LED taillights and his blinkers were red, and I prefer that look.
What a seriously terrible decision. I'm sure it was cost savings. The NHTSA has been saying for years that amber turn signals are safer, and the EU has mandated them for a long time for the same reason. It’s the physical tail lights themselves. Actually, try these settings, and it should mimic the red turn signals:Is there a way to make the led turn signals red?

Actually, try these settings, and it should mimic the red turn signals:
CBC Features: Combined Rear Lighting Enabled- Yes
CBC Features: Single Element Tail Lamp- Yes
CBC Config I/O: Connector E Pin 3/Connector F Pin 42: Rear Turn Lamps Output Present- No
CBC Config I/O Usage: Separated Lighting Brake Lamp Dropout- No

quick one on max cruise setting... I'm changing it, but the "started, please wait" message doesn't clear, even though test staus advise its saved... this is the only change I've seen that doesn't give a confirmation message quickly...

I’ll double check some settings later. Trying to think if I missed any, it’s basically the opposite settings of what I did when I put the 2019+ tail lights in my 2017.No dice. I didn’t have any rear turn signals when I tried.
Are you checking in modules > Powertrain control > configuration@Jimmy07 is this available in JScan? I can’t find it.

I haven't tried that, but I suspect that's the brightness adjustment on the camera image itself (like adjusting the brightness in a photo on your computer), not the backlight of the screen.Has anyone changed he value for camera Brightness under Radio settings?

I was just wondering if it improves the back up cam at night etc...I haven't tried that, but I suspect that's the brightness adjustment on the camera image itself (like adjusting the brightness in a photo on your computer), not the backlight of the screen.
Ahh ok. It might, I just assumed you were trying to lower the brightness of the screen when the backup camera comes on a t night. Lots of people have complained about that over the years.I was just wondering if it improves the back up cam at night etc...
You could just set it to the same profile for both seat buttons.Does anyone know how to code out “driver profiles”? It’s annoying as frick for the UConnect to reprogram itself if you use the 1 or 2 seat buttons (memory seat feature that ties into Uconnect5)
