I am going to install a BlueTooth Furrion back up camera on my RV. Will I be able to see it on my screen or do I have to buy the screen just for it?
For the furrion, you need it’s own screen. You CAN use a regular aftermarket camera with a 2.4g transmitter and receiver with the aux camera input on the radio screen.I am going to install a BlueTooth Furrion back up camera on my RV. Negative. It’s a restricted part number for the manufacturer, which means FCA, and whoever else, owns the drawings for x amount of time.@Jimmy07, were you ever able to source the 12-pin Aux camera connector?
Shoot me a PM if you prefer.

There’s no way to use a switch or physical reverse wire to “trick” any of the radios camera inputs. It would have to be something like a jailbreak, or if tazer came out with something. It would be something that needs to remain plugged it because it would constantly have to modify the message to make the radio think that the soft key is being pressed every 10 seconds. Thanks,
I saw an obscure thread (not sure I saved the link) a while back about using an aux switch to trigger a "reverse" pin to keep the camera display on. Have you seen anything of interest regarding this or any other method? Just wondering out loud that if it was even possible what other issues it could potentially create with it being CAN bus. It was easy to do on my 04.5 with an aftermarket setup - both a manual reverse toggle switch and an override hack in the head unit to keep the video display on while driving.
I heard Coastal Tech was working on something for the 2019 & 2020, 2500 & 3500 with the larger displays. I don't know if they have it out yet. You may have to call them as It appears they haven't updated their site lately. They are a little pricey though.
Thanks,
I've had contact with a few vendors including Coastal but just ran across an actual solution from NAViK as discussed here: Surround view backup cam with a camper... and Always on Camera Solution?. Thanks to member @RBarrett for this find!

Sorry to derail your thread. Further discussion of this option can be found in the threads linked above.
Thanks so much. I'm going to be towing my travel trailer with my 2 place jetrski trailer attached to that. Really want to keep an eye on the jetski's while moving.
