What r u guys running psi?

Prior to replacing the stock Transforce, I was running them at 50 unloaded without any issue. Rode a lot better with that pressure in my opinion.

2024 Ram 2500 Hemi CC Big Horn 4WD 6’-4” bed, unloaded w/Michelin LTX 295/70R18 cold: F 43# R 28#. Rides nice and I’ve checked the tire footprints.

I run 37" ridge graps and my pressure is 45 rear and 50 front.

You can adjust the air pressure settings i the infotaiment. Go to settings, turn on tire pressure warning, go to apps, find axle psi and set your warning psi.

That sounds like STFA, which is not the same as the TPMS warnings.

Well, I can tell you that it cleared my constant low pressure alert (that was initially set at 65 front 70 rear) and also removed the yellow tire pressure alert on the dash. When I went into the app, Tire Fill Alert the settings were at 65 front and 70 rear, the same as was on the red alert every time I started the truck. When I adjust the pressure up or down now, it is reflected at that pressure in the tire pressure monitor system screen with no red alerts and now yellow tire low icon.

To access this I went to Tire Fill Assist and clicked it on, then to apps, Tire Fill Alert and entered the values. That took care of the issues.

So what is the difference?

Key points about STFA:
  • Customizable pressure settings:
You can set different tire pressures for the front and rear axles through the vehicle's touchscreen settings.
  • Audio and visual alerts:
When inflating or deflating tires, the system will provide audible warnings (like a horn sound) and visual cues once the desired pressure is reached.
  • Tire pressure monitoring integration:
STFA works in conjunction with the standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) to monitor tire pressure levels.

It worked for me too but It did not work for airing up the tires and alerting me when full when I tried it a few times. Now with the M18 inflater its no big deal as that unit works awesome

Again, it is Tire fill assist. It does not change your tpms light threshold. The light going off was a coincidence.

Nice. I have a M18 also. Haven't used it yet, stays in the trailer. Glad to hear it works well.

What pressures are your tires at now?

Watching the MY2024 STFA video on the Ram website shows that interface is slightly different than my 22, but the overall operation is described the same. STFA is independent of TPMS and is used for inflating/deflating the tires.

I had mine set to 40 (lowest it goes) and with my rears at 35 it did not throw the light. Now I have the TPMS set to TPIS

STFA or TPMS to 40?

I have played with several different psi settings. Currently running 60 front and 55 rear. Rides well. This does not throw a warning message or light. STFA currently set at 50.

Mine won’t let me apply the lower threshold(pics are while I was tinkering. Factory preset is 65F/70R) You can change and delete presets but it doesn’t apply/save them. Boo. JScan soon.

What year is your truck? My 2024 has no problem applying and saving. Did check the box for fill assist first in the vehicle settings before adjusting the pressures?
