Dual Alternator Retrofit

Is it possible to have the OEM dual alternator installed after the fact if it didn’t come from the factory? Anyone have any experiences with this? I’m interested in picking up a lunar edition power wagon but most of them don’t have the dual alternator option, or if they do they’re not configured how I’d like otherwise. Thanks.
 
Yes, many have done so.

In addition to parts, you'll need AlfaOBD or JScan, an decent OBDII reader and a SGM bypass setup to enable to sales code.

I tried looking for a guide or thread chronicling the process but haven’t been able to find anything. Do you have any resources you could point me to with parts and steps? Any idea on cost? Is this something someone with decent wrenching ability could do?

Sorry I don't

Just know that the Hemi requires a new harmonic balancer/dampener as it uses a second belt as opposed the Cummins which just uses a longer belt.
 
Thanks anyway. Here's to hoping someone can chime in with some more details! It gives me hope that others have done it.
