Hear Ye Hear Ye! ((((EDITED 1/8/25))))

Late this afternoon we got the order guides for the 2025 HD Ram lineup!

CODE GUIDES Are what drives the content, price protection, etc. However, not everything in the code guide on day one will actually be able to order on day one. Some times things are delayed, and some times the code guide has items that never happen through an entire model year. For example 2024 code guide had some entire configs that never opened (Bed/Cab/Engine combos) or in the 1500s there were some colors that took 9 months to open. Will try to update these as they get refreshed (you can see the date on the document)

WEBSITE https://www.ramtrucks.com/vehicle-selector.bmo.html Is up and running BUT it is not entirely accurate. For example, no you still cannot get air suspension on an SRW 3500, and there are still items that are unavailable to order (powerwagons, gas bighorns/laramies, etc). I would use the website mostly for understanding what is in the equipment packages, and building out the rough idea of your truck. Pricing is actually accurate so far that I’ve seen! (Make sure you click 2025) If there is a conflict between code guide and website......code guide wins.

ORDERING SOFTWARE (VOIM) This is where we can actually generate your build sheet (preview or confirmation, once ordered). This is how we find out if an item is available to order or not, at that particular moment. Something closed in VOIM usually overrides it being open in the code guide, unless there's an error or unintended conflict.

DETAILS BUNCH of new info and marketing material loaded up here: https://sharesync.serverdata.net/us4/s/3OKXv3Xd2XRcf3CfVLiCtE003f24cd

TIMING It's going to be a long haul. Production has started as of January 7th but so far I have only seen Bighorn get built. they'll do a rolling start, they say.... It also can be open trim levels but limited which level packages. Or colors. All of these parameters were in play on the 2025 MY for 1500s. Not long ago, our average HD order was taking 5-7 months due to chip/supply issues. Most of this calendar year they were taking more like 2-4 months. If you're ordering before a like-vehicle has been produced, it's an open field of possibility :)

REBATES $1K rebate across the board, plus they have enabled the military and first responder

DISCOUNT All 2025 HD Factory Orders through Mark Dodge will be discounted 11% off MSRP - that is straight dealer discount, before any rebates or other qualifiers. Our discount does not conflict with anything else offered by RAM!
All orders subject to $425 Doc Fee, $4 Temp Tags. $1K deposit required to place order (due once you receive all signed paperwork). Affiliate pricing will be 1% below our Mark Dodge Price (see example below)

Example
MSRP $80,000
Dealer Discount -$8,800
Current Rebate -$1,000
Doc Fee $425
Temp Tags $4
Total before your state's TTL $70,629

Affiliate, if valid, would be another -$712 this example

OK enough of that banter - here's the link to the code guides - https://sharesync.serverdata.net/us4/s/3KuGcu8kz7upwD4OihvRVW003f24cd

If you're interested in ordering a 2025 HD Ram, we'd love to help. At the moment, what you can do is email us directly at [email protected] and list out what you're looking for. You don't have to write out every code, price, and name - but please be a bit more specific than "fully loaded" We'll run it through the ordering software, get you a price, and work through the answers on any questions together.

Thank you thank you for all of your interest and support and great community here! And thank you for making us #1 for RAM VOLUME for 2024 those of you who purchased last year or told a friend!!

DFM transmission? Was the aisin a DF2?

there seems to be only one SIX POINT SEVEN liter diesel for $12,595 ... haha

Am I reading it correctly that a Hemi is available in the 3500 Laramie?

This is a good example of something listed in code guide, not available in VOIM (ordering software) and ultimately, probably not going to happen.
Comparatively, 3500 Mega Laramie had HEMI in code guide, never actually available.

I didn't see an option for LED headlights, does that mean they are standard on all trim levels?

I'm sure things will change, but it shows some other interesting changes, like the dual alternator packages are now 400A or 480A, instead of the 380A or 440A. So alternator size has gone up. Aux switches now show as available on Power Wagon too, but they do say not available with the winch, which is optional on PW and Rebels (I think it went optional on PW for '24).

I'm also pretty sure GVWR is going up on the 2500, since they all show a no cost option (Z7L) for 10k # GVWR. Even the PW shows that option, though again, it could be a red herring.

There is only one option as previously rumored. The HO is gone. The base engine is 430/1075 mated to a ZF Powerline with a column shifter. Grid heater is gone, replaced by glow plugs. Topside oil canister housing and both primary and secondary fuel canisters/filters mounted on the engine. There's a new combo DOC/SCR and EGR system.

I can't believe they did a column shifter again, when there's no longer any reason for it. I predict someone working out a swap to the rotary.

Well this is the fun part - LED is mentioned 83 times in the 110 pages in just the 3500 Crewcab guide LOL.
If you go to the end of the guide there's the grids for standard features, you'll see:
BI-FUNCTION LED PROJECTOR HEADLAMPS (LM6) as standard on Laramie & Limited/Longhorn
LED LOW/HIGH REFLECTOR HEADLAMPS (LM3) as standard on Tradesman/Bighorn
LED TAIL LAMPS (LAY) show up in Safety & Tow Tech & Blind Spot & some other areas for Big/Trades, while standard on Laramie/Limited/Longhorn

PHEW aint this going to be fun!

Don't recall seeing these before:

DROWSY DRIVER DETECTION (XNM)
TRAFFIC SIGN RECOGNITION (SJB)
DUAL WIRELESS CHARGING PAD (CMS)
14.4" TOUCHSCREEN DISPLAY (RHZ)
ACTIVE LANE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (XNW)
NEXT GENERATION ENGINE CONTROLLER (NZD)
PEDESTRIAN/CYCLIST EMERGENCY BRAKING (LST)

They are killing these trucks. 3.42 is garbage, glow plugs are nowhere near as good as grid heaters, the filters on the engine are likely going to suck to change plus over crowd the engine bay even more.

The column shifter is good though and killing off the halogen headlights was a good idea.

@Brutal_HO any word on the lifters are they still hydro rollers?

As @mbarber84 has posted, there's no change to the lifter design.

RE: trans

The gear ratios for the Aisin AS69RC transmission are:
  • First gear: 3.75
  • Second gear: 2.00
  • Third gear: 1.34
  • Fourth gear: 1.00
  • Fifth gear: 0.77
  • Sixth gear: 0.63
  • Reverse: 3.54
    • Final drive ratio: 3.73

ZF:
1: 4.89
2: 3.12
3: 2.03
4: 1.64
5: 1.25
6: 1.0
7: .84
8: .64
R: -4.25

When I have some time, I'll have to add it to the gearspeed worksheet I have and see what it looks' like, but first blush would indicate 3.42 is suitable and will drop RPM's around 100-150 at highway speed.

The electronic nannies are likely due to .Gov safety regulations, similar to how back up cameras became required on all vehicles a few years back.

How does the equipment group pricing work? I.e., the 3500 Big Horn shows $1,995 for Level 1, $2,695 for Level 1 Plus, $2,995 for Level 2, and $5,195 for Level 2 Plus.
If I want Level 2 Plus is it $5,195 total or do I have to include the price for any of the other levels?
