2022 bighorn 2500 gasser, I bought second hand and soon discovered this strange vibration when turning at slow speed in 2wd. Feels a bit like when in 4wd turning slow and hard. My mechanic found water in the rear dif (LSD). It was still under warranty so dealer replaced it. 3000 miles later it has a similar vibration when turning in any direction at slow speed. I feel it because my hearing is so bad i can't hear it. Is this just characteristic and something I need to live with like my arthritis? It is still under warranty from manufacturer, but before I take it in again, I thought I would ask you trustworthy gentlemen what you thought?

Is it stock tires? If not some aggressive tires can give that feeling when turning slow.

How much are you turning? Is it sharp or not?

before the dealer replaced the LSD it felt the same. Mild "shaking" or chatter maybe. The only thing I can compare it to is my 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 would feel like this when under similar conditions only in 4wd and slow tight turns.

Did they ever resolve this for you? My 2022 Power Wagon is doing the same exact thing and the dealer is at a loss in figuring out what it is although they too confirm it is doing it.

So is it say on initial take off and doesn't matter forward or reverse will wheel fully cocked to either the left or the right? Feels like a momentary shudder? that immediately goes away when to lessen the gas pedal application? or let the wheel start to straighten out?

Mine only will do it when starting from complete stop, and doesn't matter if wheels are turned left or right regardless of degree. I first noticed it when pulling the truck back into the garage after washing it so it was very slow, and only a slights turns in both directions. It first made me think my front tires were cupped on the very outside edges but that was verified to not be the case.

Got the truck back yesterday and no matter what I do, I cannot replicate the chatter that I had before. Very happy man here. Bayway CDJR was fantastic, Ramcares even helped expedite parts. Ended up replacing the differential/carrier, the locker actuator assembly, the bearings on the actuator side along with wave washer/spring. Since the thing was acting basically like the rear locker was engaged or trying to engage, and they replaced the actuator assembly I can't help but wonder if that was the root cause of everything that failed. Tough to know exactly but if you're in Houston area and your PW is doing this, Bayway fixed mine 100% under warranty (as it should be with only 22k miles).
