No seatbelt indicator for passenger seat

Picked up my factory order from Mark Dodge this past weekend and drove 1000 miles back to NC.
Wife was with me and never got a seatbelt warning light or indicator when she would unbuckle to get something from the cooler in the back seat.

I did a quick check under the seat to see if something was unplugged. But didn't see anything. I checked fuses under the hood too, but nothing seemed to be marked for the seats.
Does anyone know other locations to check for fuses?

Just want to check the simple things before I take it into the local dealer to have them look at it.
I'm going to unplug and plug everything back in just in case of a bad connection.

Also wonder if this not working would affect the air bags too.

Heck thats an upgrade better than the seat belt indicator I would not have it fixed for my uses lol

Looks like you purchased a 3500.

I don't believe 1 ton or larger trucks are required to have passenger seat belt alert. At least my 22 3500 does not apparently have one.

My truck is the same...but it will remind her if she never puts it on when we leave.

Do you really need that?

I did disable the seatbelt reminder chime on mine...sometimes its just need and drove me crazy.

Drove with wife again today.
Got in and told her to not put it on. Drove down the road and there is absolutely no indication of the passenger in the seat without the seat belt on.
Would think I'd have something. And then does it know she's there for air bag purposes?

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong... But I do believe that if the front airbags go off, they all go off, regardless of occupancy

Ok, sounds like the 3500's don't have the passenger seatbelt alert. My 2019 2500 had it.

Can anyone else with 3500's check and confirm ?
